We came here on a snowy evening and we were the only table due to the weather. We had a great time speaking with the owner and staff. The food (especially the steak) and all recommendations were excellent!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food, friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere.

Place is old needs some work. Girl bartender was very nice but it took almost 25 minutes to get our drinks then 40 minutes to get appetizers and over an hour to get our entrées and we where the only table in there.

Not what it use to be . Six tapas plates were hit or miss .... some good ( octopus, bacalao) some OK (chourico, shrimp), some not very good ( mix meat stew). Although few tables occupied kitchen service extremely slow. Ambiance is cozy. Prices are very very good. Keep on looking for better Iberian fare.

We drove an hour from Dutchess County and met friends for dinner in Mt. Kisco. La Camelia was recommended to us by one of our friends attending the dinner. It was a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not busy. There were several items that were on the menu but not available that night. Also, the online menu differs from the in house menu. For example I was going to get the pork loin but it was not on the menu. I ended up getting the caesar salad and taco tapas. The salad did not taste like caesar. The tacos were average. Whatever sauce was on them ran through so I ended up eating them with a fork. The waitress/bartender/server was very nice and apologetic. The dinner took a long time to come out so we ended up not ordering dessert. There are too many other choices in Mt. Kisco. Very disappointed.

Over the last few months we have been venturing beyond our vicinity to seek out different places in the surrounding areas, and we stumbled upon this place. The online menu seemed very appetizing and we reserved a table for Friday November 17, 2023 7:15 PM.The venue's configuration consists of a bar area and a dining area separated by a wall. As we entered there was a singer/guitar player performing in the bar section. We were escorted to our table and were each provided with pre fixe menus with price tags of $45/person, not seen by us on the website. We were a little taken aback, since the website shows a dinner menu along with tapas choices. When we heard a couple from another table ask for a regular menu, we asked our server for the same. We inquired as to why we were not told of this option and the response was since there was a performer in the other room, the place was trying to limit the variety of choices in order to make things easier for the kitchen. The entertainer played songs that were nostalgic, but we would have preferred it were with a softer volume, since our intention was to have a quiet dinner in the dining area, and not partake in the bar crowd merriment.Once provided with the regular menu, Julie ordered Sopa de Lagosta (Bisque Of Lobster With Crab Meat & Toast) and Croquetas de Pollo (Chicken Croquettes), and I ordered the Bitoque (Black Angus Steak With Egg & Fries). When the bisque arrived and Julie submerged her spoon, she collected some peeled shells that were contained in the broth. The soup was inedible, so we returned it and asked to replace it with a Caesars Salad. The salad was exceptionally outstanding and the best part of the meal. When Julie received the the croquettes, she found them to be "dry and pasty" and when I tasted it, I found them lacking in chicken, and overly seasoned, perhaps with cilantro. My steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and with the egg accompaniment, it was extremely tasty, however, not worth the $30 price tag. It was reminiscent of the type of steak one might receive in a diner as a hungry man's breakfast special, and not fine-dining menu item.On two occasions, I used the restroom; first upon our seating, and later before we left. The first time, I came upon a messy, neglected bathroom with no soap in the dispenser. I scrambled to acquire some hand sanitizer which was available at the entrance to the restaurant. The second time, I used the second bathroom which DID have soap in the dispenser, but the waste basket had been unattended to, the switch plate was cracked and broken, and there were rusty pipes. These restrooms definitely need updates.I wanted so badly to rate this place higher. The staff was very friendly and kind. We enjoyed the walls of paintings. This place has the potential to be amazing, but certain modifications should be addressed.

La Camelia seamlessly blends Portuguese and Spanish cuisines, delighting our family with its exquisite food, cocktails, and inviting atmosphere. Each dish reflects true culinary mastery, with freshness and delicious flavors defining the Portuguese and Spanish fusion cuisine. While we didn't catch the owner's name, his warm welcome made us feel like cherished guests. His personal attention added an extra layer of joy to our dining adventure. Everything was amazing! Thank you

I came to this restaurant for a meal on a Saturday night and the restaurant was practically empty, I'm honestly not surprised. I'll keep it simple and too the point, this review is about the food, which I did not like one bit. For a restaurant that is supposed to specialize in tapas, I found it extremely odd that they were sold out of 70% of the tapas menu. For a empty restaurant it's so strange to be out of so many options, but whatever! The quality, taste, ingredients, presentation, etc, of the food was severely lacking. I have no problem with the staff, they were very nice. We ordered Chorizo which the server gave us with the chorizo sitting inside a puddle of liqueur that was supposed to be ignited except the server could not keep the dish flaming. Because the flames continued to blow out, the chorizo tasted like it was sitting in a pool of lighter fluid. Absolutely terrible and inedible! Some other odd dish was served to us that was supposed to be salted cod and potatoes but it seemed like they substituted French fries in place of the potatoes. Such a strange experience.

Not sure what happened and if our experience was a one-off or the norm. Either way, we will not be going back. The service was s-l-o-w. It took almost 25+ minutes to get a bottle of wine. The place was pretty empty (1st clue it was not good). We had 3 wait staff tending to us and they were all confused. Menus printed on regular paper. Menu was prefixed which was disappointing. The food was colorful but with very little flavor. The restaurant went from being comfortable to cold and breezy throughout our meal. The "music" did not match the restaurant's theme, or any theme for that matter and they ran commercials. At different points the music was completely off. The staff could be heard having loud conversations while the few patrons waited for their staff to ask for basics like salt, pepper etc. it took over 2 hours to get through our meal. We will never get that time back and it was not worth it.

Worst, worst meal and service ever. This is an absolute joke and not only did we wait for an hour plus for food to arrive, the food was cold and quite underwhelming. This is not even an actual restaurant and has no right to call themselves even a hint of decency showing any remorse for bad service and crappy food.

Will not be back, went for a few tapas and a drink and sat at the bar. Place was not busy, food took forever to come out. We ordered the baked clams but received the steamed clams. Sent them back to receive steamed clams again, at this point we just gave up and ate them as if already took over an hr to receive muscles, clams and tacos. Funny thing, the bill arrived with the correct item ordered on it. When I mentioned to the owner the order came out wrong we received no apology or anything. He was extremely rude and said that bartender put the wrong order in.
