We're VERY disappointed. Spent nearly $20 on 3 pastries. The crème brulée tasted like cream cheese. No caramelized sugar on top. No vanilla bean. I don't know what on earth this is, but it's not an authentic crème brûlée. The other pastry was so mediocre, we set it aside as well.

I am genuinely surprised by some of the negative reviews. I decided to visit the bakery on a whim because my usual one was closed, and I was needed a cake and some sweets. I had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was incredibly sweet and friendly. She was incredibly patient as I placed my order, which included a multitude of items. My family and I were happy with the cake, and the mini chocolate, passionfruit, and mixed berry mouse cakes that we ate. Not to mention, I also got a loaf of bread, which was sooo tasty!! I will definitely be back!

Purchased a blueberry tart that was completely burned on the bottom and gooey blueberry goop on inside. Also got a cheese danish. That nite I got a flat tire and waited 2 hrs for AAA. The pastry only made me madder and sadder as I waited. Disappointed.
Best cake I’ve ever had!! Absolutely life changing ❤️

Never disappointed with L'Anjou. Over the years, I've ordered their quiches and pastries which are all quite delicious. Yesterday, the Irish Cream Cheesecake was superb. I'm so glad that L'Anjou continues to survive (and hopefully thrive) in our area.

Tiny hole-in-the-wall bakery, with everything made fresh every day, at least that's the vibe anyways. Croissant was just pretty good, but the cheese Danish has to have been one of the best I've had. It's good stuff

Pastry was mostly average. Crispy exterior but no depth of texture or flavor. Laminations we're barely adequate. Lacked salt, lacked any unique characteristics. Just kind of vanilla. Service was pleasant but unremarkable. With consideration of space and location I was at least hopeful for a bit more warmth and charm but was disappointed.

Parking: It’s hard to find as it is on the back of what seems to be an empty lot (behind an old closed Boston Market) so need to pay attention your first time in.

Amazing people amazing food
A hidden gem in the area!! Was searching for a place that has saint honore and came across this place and have been here multiple times now. Absolutely love their french pastries and danishes. Not a lot of seating space though. Also, the saint honore - they have it as a special order and needs to be ordered atleast 2 days in advance, they don't have the mini version regularly in store.

Just finished a piece of the most amazing chocolate mousse cake with raspberry. Perfect balance of sweetness and chocolate. What a wonderful way to celebrate my dad’s 86th birthday. We’ve been going to L’Anjou for twenty years and it’s always the best!
