The staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful people I've had the opportunity to meet. Their pastries, cakes and croissants are the best I've ever had. Their quaint and cozy store is definitely a must stop shop if you're ever in the area.

Your money is better spent elsewhere. I was initially so excited to visit this new bakery after seeing all the great reviews. Upon walking in, the lady behind the counter was incredibly rude and didn’t even greet us politely despite our positive and polite greetings to her. Even still, we ordered a cake and a black and white cookie. The cake was a chocolate raspberry mousse and was overpriced at $45. We intentionally chose this bakery to try something new. However, we plan on sticking to our usual Patisserie in Westchester which gives larger, better cakes for a more affordable price. Additionally, the writing on the cake was so poorly done as seen in the photo. The black and white cookie was not a real black and white cookie. It was merely a shortbread cookie with frosting and also not worth the money. The money wouldn’t even matter if the service was better. We asked politely if we could throw out our water bottle in their indoor trash bin and the lady directed us to throw out our minimal trash outside the bakery. I could understand that rationale if it was right before closing but we were at the bakery two whole hours before their closing time. Furthermore, I wanted to take photos of the cute interior to give an honest review of the location but the lady rudely directed me not to take photos despite the many people who have previously taken photos at this facility. Please note that I have done many reviews in many different bakeries throughout NY and different states in the country, and never had an issue with taking photos. Most places, if not all, welcome taking photos without permission. Even if this bakery required permission, the lady could have informed us of the same rather than rudely telling us not to take photos. Additionally, there was no sign stating that you need permission for photos. Generally, I like to leave positive reviews for independent owned businesses and I initially planned on doing the same for this establishment. Considering that we ordered a cake and a cookie despite how poorly and unfairly we were treated throughout the entire interaction, any sweetness from the pastries/cake was soured. We would not recommend visiting this bakery at all.

The most delicious cakes, cookies, croissants, breads, and more. This French Patisserie is worth the drive for our family. The friendly service and scrumptious treats never fail to disappoint. (Try the Hazelnut Dacquoise for a gluten free delight)

This is a hidden gem; unless you know about it beforehand, it's not easily seen from the street. I happened upon it because I had my car serviced nearby and I was looking for a place to kill time. I am so glad I found it. Their strawberry shortcake is so good, moist and not overly sweet. So far, every item I have tried was delicious.

I visited today after doing a little Google search for bakery near me because I was craving something sweet and I came across this French bakery with the highest reviews so I decided to just give a try. Boy, oh boy, oh boy!! I was NOT disappointed at all!! Lol I bought an almond croissant and 3 apricot rugalah’s (please forgive me if I’ve misspelled the word) and literally devoured the almond croissant and 2 of the rugalah cookies inside the car. Lol!! So so so so sooo good. ??? I’ll be back!

Listen, I was looking for a good cake for my birthday (because I refuse to have an ultra sweet, chemical tasting cake) and found the best I’ve had since I moved to the U.S. The strawberry shortcake hit the nail on the head. Thank you. ❤️

Their desserts are as beautiful as they are delicious. And a very friendly and patient lady at the counter. Love this place.

One of the best chocolate croissants ever! Everything seems very fresh and authentic. Reasonably priced for the quality. Cash is preferred if under $15. Brave the weird dominos parking lot for a great treat!!

L'Anjou is a delight, a real neighborhood patisserie hidden behind a fast food place. Having lived in Paris for some years I love the authenticity of real French cuisine. In the best French tradition, the choice is not enormous but the quality is excellent. Besides the gateaux and tartes and baguettes, they make a wonderful large quiche that feeds six generously, and ham and cheese croissants to die for. There is always a warm welcome from the chef and his wife, and they are endlessly helpful if you have a special request.
