I walked in and asked the woman behind the counter, whom I later learned, is Carolyn, if they made Italian subs. She, of course, said yes, and I proceeded to ask if she had gabagool/capicola. I was so proud I said it right. I revealed to her that this was a new word for me, and we laughed that I said it right. Then I asked it she was going to out Swiss on it and she said, " Swiss?, you were doing so well and the. You had to say Swiss? No, provolone, of course!" And...
This is an old-school deli, which brings me back to my childhood. Food is great, staff are friendly, and everything is reasonably priced.Highly recommended — both for the food and the nostalgia factor.
Several people at the company I work for order lunch from here all the time so I decided to give it a try. I ordered ahead and was pleasantly surprised In that there were no mistakes. And they were right, the food speaks for itself! Soooo good.
