While visiting the Leonard Park (Kisco) Disc Golf Course, we decided to walk over to Tipsy Taco Bar for some food and refreshments, and it ended up being a great choice. When we arrived, the restaurant was in the middle of putting up its Christmas decorations, and the place looked fantastic. The lights and holiday setup added a warm, festive feeling that immediately made the atmosphere stand out.

Time to as around 3 o’clock on a Friday afternoon, the crowd was surprisingly good. It was steady without being overwhelming, giving the place a comfortable, lively vibe. The bartender and servers were extremely friendly, attentive, and easy to talk to. They kept the energy fun, and we shared plenty of laughs throughout the visit.

The food was priced well, especially considering the quality. I tried three different tacos along with an order of sweet potato fries, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Each taco had its own distinct character, and nothing felt rushed or generic. It definitely made me want to come back just to sample more of the menu.

Overall, Tipsy Taco Bar delivered a great experience: good food, great staff, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. I’m already looking forward to returning and trying more items, especially once all the Christmas decorations are fully set up.

The chips and guacamole were only ok as the guacamole tastes like the ones you find in the supermarket. The shrimps the same and the for the price I found it way too much.

We came here on a recommendation expecting it to be worth the 45 minute drive, but we were in for a disappointment. For starters, no physical menus make me lose faith in humanity, the fact that we were sitting waiting to be taken care of for 20 minutes, and they seem short staffed so The person serving us was preoccupied with plenty of other tables. The sampler they have is $36 dollars itself, if you wanna order a sampler, you’re supposed to save money, not spend more, not to mention when we ordered simple Mexican sodas, they gave us alcoholic versions of the drink without even asking us or asking for IDs, these poor business practices will not go unnoticed. We finally get to dinner, the birria quesadillas were not that bad, but the trio burrito that I ordered only came with chicken and it tasted like something I could get at chipotle for maybe even half the price. I had to scrounge for sauces to make it taste even slightly better, but overall this place was not even barely worth it. For 2 people, one appetizer, 2 drinks, and 2 entres, our total was $100+, if you wanna get ripped off, then this is your place.

I had a great experience at Tipsy Taco. The steak bowl was delicious—really flavorful and cooked just right. It had a nice balance of ingredients, and the portion was solid without going overboard.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Liz was my server and she was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was spot on without being overbearing. It’s always a win when your server actually seems to enjoy what they’re doing.

Definitely a place I’d come back to. Great food, chill atmosphere, and solid service.

I got the Baja fish soft tacos and the were smaller than the palm of my hand and had like 3 square pieces of fish. I also ordered the steak fries and I swear they were 6 pieces or 7 pieces...with a whole bunch of ketchup. It was too much money for the amount of food. Too little for too much.

I went to the Tipsy Taco for Mother's Day last night & it was terrible. I ordered grilled shrimp tacos& they were terrible!!! First of all,my dinner mate& I waited forever for our food & when I finally got mine,it was two cold little microwaved shrimp with shredded lettuce & some pickled onion on a soft taco. I will never go there again.

The food is hit or miss. I tried getting the same fish tacos as last time, but this time around they gave me a tiny sliver of uncooked tuna. I think a singular piece of sushi has more protein than this taco. It’s supposed to be seared but I’m convinced this piece of fish didn’t touch the grill. Wish they good just get it right consistently. Such a sad meal :( see the protein portion in the other tacos(al pastor and carne asada) in background for comparison.
