I brought my Mom here for a sit-down lunch. This is awesome classic chinese food. The sesame chicken is awesome and has a crispyness to it. The brocoli in brown sauce is perfect. Mom loved the egg drop soup, she's a chinese food connoisseur and she said it was the best she's ever had. Thank you!
I love this place. They have the best Chinese food in my area. My favorites are there sautéed string beans, their pork fried rice & their BBQ'd ribs on or off the bone. Any of their dishes are freshly made. Take out or dine in. They have dinner specials as well. The staff is courteous and has excellent customer service. You won't be disappointed.
Used to take out fairly large orders from Lotus East about once a month when I'd get together with my parents and siblings and would also eat there occasionally. It was always very good. I've migrated to more authentic Asian foods offered by the local establishments near SBU, but I sometimes have an urge for old-school Cantonese. I ordered take-out for my immediate family and it wasn't the same tastes and flavors. I was disappointed. Flavor was lacking, fried rice...
