I actually go out of my way to eat at this deli, the food is always so good, and for some reason the coffee there is better than any other place I know! I just had the Texas melt sandwich (I added jalapeños), and it was so good!!
Pete the owner is probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet. Always says hello and wgats going on. He make the absolute best chicken cutlets anywhere. The breakfast sandwiches with bacon are hands down the best I ever had. Due to his deli, I cant leave long island.
First off, let me start off by saying that this is the best deli for potato, mac and coleslaw salads. Used to be the best deli around for everything, we have lived here nearly 28 years and only come to this deli. HOWEVER, I don't know if it is new employees and I hope it is but... when someone chooses to come to a deli for sandwiches they come because they want thinly sliced, piled high cold cuts. The last three times here I have left with my cold cuts sliced super thick...
