Our experience getting married at Mountainville Manor on a summer weekday in June was nothing short of amazing. Lauren and James have got the process down pat and everything flowed smoothly due to their experience and professionalism, from the planning process to the day of our wedding. They respond to all questions and inquiries promptly and lay out expectations clearly, making for the wedding event planning to flow smoothly. On our wedding day, when our ceremony had to moved to indoors because of the rain, their team was agile and prepared to pivot at the last minute to accommodate an indoor ceremony. The food was amazing and you get the entire venue to yourself for the wedding, no staggered weddings like other places, making it especially intimate and special. Their venue is meticulously maintained and there are many great photo-op areas to take your wedding day pictures. We got married at Mountainville Manor yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. Lauren and James flawlessly executed our many many requests, accommodated our food allergies, and made sure that everything ran smoothly so that I, the bride, could (finally) relax. We used two of their recommended vendors: Gillian the florist and Matthew Lask the DJ and they were both fantastic. If you get married here, my one piece of advice is to listen to Mary when she reminds you to eat, otherwise you will miss the delicious food! We couldn’t be happier with our experience.

Despite the weather not cooperating, we had a beautiful ceremony in the ballroom and a tented reception that looked magical with the string lights and floral displays. We got so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful and unique our wedding was. We also got countless compliments on the food and cocktails. We particularly appreciated that a staff member was assigned to keeping tabs on us all day long to make sure we were fed, hydrated, and comfortable. This Victorian estate is full of charm, with stunning photo opportunities around every corner. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the house itself makes a perfect backdrop for portraits. One of the standout nearby locations is the Moodna Viaduct, just a short drive away—especially during golden hour. Sunset light also hits the back of the house just right, making for magical end-of-day shots on-site.
Lauren and her team are incredible—always professional, organized, and genuinely helpful. Everything runs smoothly, which makes a huge difference for both vendors and couples. There are no unnecessary restrictions for photographers or other vendors, which creates a relaxed, creative environment.
The venue also has great amenities, including plenty of parking and well-appointed bridal and groom suites. When the weather’s nice, their indoor/outdoor cocktail hour setup adds a great dynamic to the flow of the day.
I definitely recommend Mountainville Manor to any couple looking for a romantic, well-run venue with endless photo potential. I’ve shot here 4–5 times and would happily come back again anytime.
