“When I was first diagnosed with Celiac Disease there was hardly anything tasty to eat in baked goods. My wife discovered Katz gluten free donuts and pastries in 2011 and I’ve been eating their products ever since. I love their variety of donuts, fritters, pies, etc. I haven’t tasted anything I don’t like from this company. Everything is delicious and they do a really good job with gluten free. I do wish they made gf biscuits. If they ever do I’m sure they’ll be delicious also!”

“We really love this place and here’s the rundown of it for those who have never been - super cozy vibe, calm color tones, friendly staff and atmosphere - very home-y. Filled with merch from independent small businesses like blankets, hats, pottery, etc that all fit the aesthetic. Drinks are great and well made - not rushed and there’s a variety of options even for things like hot chocolate (in the winter I had a hot chocolate flight that was amazing - photo). They have seasonal drinks that are very creative but well balanced in flavors and they all have pasties from Balthazar available if you want something to snack on. Lots of comfortable seating both at the coffee bar and on couches. Don’t know their exact policy but I’ve met some very cute dogs there so would say they’re likely welcome. Tucked off the main road but by maybe half a block and is totally worth the extra steps”

The cookies vanished in moments and everyone thought they were delicious!The khachipuri with za'atar and potato bureka were delicious. The khachipuri was soft with a flavorful mix of cheeses; the bureka had a flaky and crispy exterior with a perfectly seasoned mashed potato filling!So happy to have found you.”

Place had an amazing earthy vibe to it, rare to visit a place that speaks to your soul as this one does. Being a deadhead and hearing old school Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead on the speakers brought a smile to my face. Isaac who owns the place, relocated from Brooklyn, NY and will engage you about the area and fun things to do. If ever in the area, re Highland Falls, NY stop by, you won't be disappointed.Parking: Plenty of parking spots when I went during a Friday am.”

“WOWThis was a huge surprise. I was visiting a customer in Peekskill New York, and pulled over to grab a small bite to eat from a food truck. I pulled into the lot and noticed there was a big line. When I got on line there were a lot of regulars talking about what they were going to order. I asked one of them what they would recommend, and they said you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. They were so right.I got an order of taco's. You got to pick any three taco's you wanted. and the order came with hand cut fries, and this amazing lime aioli. I had a chorizo, fish, and chicken taco. They might have been the best I ever had. After I finished I had to tell the owner how great the food was. He happened to be the nicest guy, and was truly happy to hear that I thoroughly enjoyed his food. He makes all of his food fresh daily, and makes his own chorizo.I went home that night, and told my son about the truck. That weekend I stopped by again, this time with my son and his fiance. Octavio remembered me right away. We ordered a braised short rib grill cheese on Texas toast, a Cuban sandwich that he made with his own smoked pulled pork, and his home made empanada's. All three of us were amazed with his food.My son was getting married in three weeks, and we had rented an Airbnb for the weekend, and were throwing a rehearsal dinner for about 40 people the night before the wedding. We had already planned on having it catered, but my son mentioned why don't we do something different, and see if Octavio would bring his food truck to the Airbnb instead of using a caterer. It wound up being fantastic. We spoke with Octavio, and picked five items off the menu to serve that night. Everyone at the party raved about the food, and Octavio surprised us at the end by serving his home made caramel stuffed churro's with chocolate sauce.If you love great food, you must give him a visit...”

“This place is amazing! We had 25 people coming from an Army game and called to see if they could take us all in an hour- they said yes and we are so glad they did! Servers Michael and Justin were incredible! We walked in, tables were set, water glasses filled and menus ready. They handled separate bills with ease, drink orders, soups, appetizers, meals and desserts with amazing customer service- and the food was a home run!! True comfort food with a flare! The Schwing burgers & Mac/cheese, deviled egg appetizers and skillet cookie were just a few of our favs! The list of beers on tap was long and something for everyone’s tastebuds for sure! It is cooked fresh at ALL hours (they cook small batches throughout the day, so you're always just in time for a hot plate).Our bodies feel good after eating here. They cook real food with real ingredients, and you can tell based on how you feel after.
