I've been going to Sal's from before they relocated due to fire, got to admit I feel that the service is ok but owner and family are kind of rude.maybe it's just me but everytime I go there I remember why they Not my favorite spot & I am a Mt Vernon resident for over 20 yrs

Best deli and sandwiches in Mount Vernon. Pro-tip: call and order before arriving as the deli is excellent and very popular and lines/wait for in-store orders can be a little long.
Parking: Metered street parking only. May have to park down the block but worth the short walk.

Sal’s Deli is amazing! I get breakfast there all the time. I would get my sandwiches for lunch there too. It’s clean, very efficient, and they have many varieties. I don’t get a stomach ache from eating there and I have a very sensitive stomach. I love Sal’s Deli and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you!!

I been coming here for a long time I have never had any issues with any of my sandwiches or anything I get from here the staff is always nice the store is always clean a little pricey but you get what you pay for all the time and they never are cheap with the meat in the sandwich which is a plus the only thing I don’t recommend is the Philly cheesesteak it comes out way too oily

HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!!I called asking until what time they make sandwiches they said 7:30 Pm i called at 7 and they said they stopped making sandwiches because they want to close early!!!! Really?? how unprofessional and disrespectful to costumers this place has became I had been a costumer from Sals since the 90s what at disappointment they have became just another Mt Vernon deli nothing special like they used to be !! And this is not the first time I had issues with them Horrible and disrespectful like I said.0 stars would not recommend this place anymore..
