Matter of Health is one of our regular shopping locations. They have a great variety of vegan and natural foods. The store is well stocked so we can usually find exactly what we're looking for. Lots of fresh veggies and fruit attractively displayed. There is a buffet near the back with some seating up front for a quick lunch on-the-go. Quality and variety is generally good, but not great. Food is not all vegan (or even vegetarian) so read the ingredient labels carefully.

We love this place! From HOT fresh food to regular, healthy groceries, there is much to explore. The health section has extensive inventory, including Homeopathic Remedies, which I appreciate.

It's a little expensive but has a better selection of produce and health products. Buffet is a plus when you must eat out.

The juice woman is absolutely the most unfriendly and unhelpful employee I’ve encountered at any business. She would not step away from her other duties to help me. When she asked what I wanted and I needed a minute to think, she abruptly turned around without saying anything. This employee should lose their job. Seriously, look at your camera at 4pm eastern time on 9/12/2024 and see how long it took before she even addressed me as a customer. I will never be back because this service is typical from this employee

I'm a tough customer in the sense that I'm an organic gardener and eat my own freshly picked produce all season, and that's hard to compete against. In general, we like the store and are now regular customers. Where you have to be careful is the produce - some items are quite fresh, like the broccoli and cherries, but others are not, like the grapes - they tend to get soft and begin growing mold after a few days in the refrigerator, so you have to eat them fairly quickly. We never had a problem with watermelons until recently, but customer service said we could return them up to seven days from purchase, and they did in fact take them back for store credit. So, if you are careful, you can get decent organic produce, you just have to know what to buy and how quickly to consume it. The juice bar is a real plus, and the staff are quite nice. The owner is an honest gentleman.

This store is called a matter of health, correct so why is the Food that is cooked in the store so salty? Too much salt!

I AM deeply grateful for this health food store. I'm there at least 3 times a week. Staff is cordial and friendly, and the management is on top of their products.
Thank you for your unwavering dedication.

This store is huge inside. So much bigger than I expected. They have large selection of healthy items in stock. Almost as big as a Whole Foods. I stopped in for a very specific item. I really thought it would be stocked by the bread. However, they receive them and store them frozen. ROYO Bagels and Bread. I've never tried this product, but saw so many great reviews, I wanted to try, but not order a minimum purchase online. I'm so glad I was heading that way today to stop and get some Bagels. Just be mindful who you ask questions to. They don't all speak English there.

Love this store. Managers and staff are nice and accommodate especially during returns and bringing heavy items to my car. Will always be a forever customer.
