We have been loyal customers of Cho Cho San Noodle House for years, but our recent experience was beyond disappointing. We placed a large $140 order including a tip, even though we picked up our order. Our order included beef and broccoli, chicken lo mein, Szechuan chicken, dumplings, lettuce wraps, General Tso's chicken, sesame chicken, and two huge wonton soups. Unfortunately, nearly every dish was lacking in protein, filled with all vegetables--no chicken, no beef and a tiny container with the lettuce wrap filling. The lettuce was pink and slimy on the edges and wet wrapped in saran wrap-gross . We wouldn't eat it and threw it away. To make matters worse, the wonton soup dumplings were falling apart because they had been in the soup too long, and the fried noodles for the soups were a joke. We asked for at least four packs of fried noodles, but were only given two and they were 1/4 full. For the size of the order (which we picked up ourselves), this was unacceptable. Honestly, I feel so ripped off.
We even called to complain and were told the owner, Anna, would reach out to us—yet, we never received a call. This was very frustrating, especially for long-time customers. Additionally, the order came with minimal sauces (one dipping sauce for all the dumplings ordered and no duck sauce, soy sauce etc for anything else ) and no chopsticks. And to top it all off, we found a piece of white plastic in the beef and broccoli, which they didn't seem to care about.
For $140, this experience was a disgrace, especially with no follow-up from the restaurant. We have always enjoyed Cho Cho San and the Noodle House in the past, but after this, we are done. The quality has gone way downhill, and it's incredibly disappointing that we weren't even offered a refund or any resolution for such a poor experience. Just SAD and I am out $140 plus tip for a meal that was just thrown out.

This was good, but not great. I got the Shanghai dumplings and the chicken satay. The dumplings were not very good and lacked flavor. The chicken satay was good but not amazing.

A lot of people seem to do takeout. This is my first time trying this place, so I decided to dine in. My order was a custom version of the Malaysian Spicy Ramen (please note I did pay an additional $3 for this alteration due to my dietary restrictions). Their menu is pretty transparent when it comes to add-ons or customizations within the ramen menu section. My order was a Vegetable Ramen with a broth swap. The waitress was friendly, understanding, patient, and willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. They also have other meals besides just ramen. The prices are fairly reasonable and the food is delicious. Overall, I was pleased and satisfied. ( :
Vegetarian options: The restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian food options within their menu and is willing to accommodate at an additional cost.
Dietary restrictions: The restaurant is willing to accommodate if you have food allergies. My allergies are that I am allergic to pork, shellfish, and am lactose intolerant.

Unfortunately this will be my last time eating here. I bought some fried rice which cost $19. When I called they could have at least told me they charge a percentage for cards. I don’t know sounds like they are taking advantage of people. However the rice was decent

I have only ever ordered for pickup, but the food is always ready within 20 minutes and they have the best soup dumplings in Rockland! The inside of the restaurant is small but clean, and the ambiance is very comfortable. The restaurant is in between two roads, and there is another Cho Cho San right next to it, which is a Hibachi and Sushi place.I always easily find parking, but I only ever pick up on weekdays after dark. If it gets busier on weekends, you might struggle to find a spot.

First time there for lunch. Impressive dining area. Small but big enough. We were seated quickly and the waitress greeted us right away. Very nice menu with m-f lunch specials. Food was super fresh and really tasty. Portions are generous. I like this place a lot.

Cho Cho San exceeded my expectations! The O.M.G sushi roll and lobster roll were exceptional, making it the best sushi experience I've had. Highly recommended!

Whenever we don't feel adventurous but simply crave some comfort food, Cho Cho San Noodle House would be our top choice. Actually this is the the closest location for us to secure a nice bowl of Laksa, or the closest Laksa-taste-alike (it's called "Malaysian Spicy Miso Ramen" on their menu). We never order from their "Entrees" section, as those dishes are more catered for people unfamiliar with authentic Asian food. We mostly focus on "Appetizers", "Dim Sum" and "Noodle Soup" categories that feature dishes from many Asian countries. Steamed Vegetable Dumplings are never absent on our visit. I have always marveled at the texture of their noodles - soft yet springy, never soggy, always the right degree of chewiness - and even wanted to ask them about the supplier, so I could order some for my home cooking haha! This is also one of the more traditional Chinese restaurants, where they still serve you a free bowl of deep fried crackers with duck sauce. It's always busy there - as many take-out orders as dine-in customers - but the service is always friendly and orderly, never frantic or negligent. The decoration is tasteful, with traditional paintings and calligraphy on the wall and lamp shades.

Nice place for some ramen or hot soup on a cold day. They also have a good selection of Asian dishes. Should not be confused with it's main restaurant Cho Cho San Sushi and Hibachi which is just around the corner. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup was supposed to be spicy but it wasn'
