It was my first time ordering from this place and it was a memorable experience. The general tso was probably the worst thing I've ever tasted. And I get the same meal every time I get Chinese food. The managed to ruin my favorite meal outstandingly. Congratulations. For 22 dollars I feel scammed and insulted at the minal effort they put into cooking the food. Even the rice, which was probably made in a rice cooker , was disgusting.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I ordered shrimp broccoli and it was disgusting. I could not even see the shrimp. It looked like it was breaded but it was not? The broccoli was not fresh. It looked and tasted horrible! Do not waste your money.

I was here on Sunday, 8/18/24 in the afternoon to pick up my order(spent about $51). A man, the cashier was very rude from the second I walked in. When I asked for hot sauce, the man angrily went to get the sauce and barked “only one!” as he gave me one tiny container of hot sauce. I had ordered 3 dishes for 3 people! I will never go back!

Stopped by and ordered a lunch special CHICKEN w/ BROCCOLI (L2..w/ white rice and hot & sour soup).

The order took about 10 minutes to fill.

The food basically tasted like chicken & broccoli sautéed in a wok with soy sauce. It was NOT good.

$11.25 + $0.94 (tax) = $12.19 totally not worth it.

The hot & sour soup was decent. The white rice tasted like white rice :). But again, the dish tasted like they doused the food with soy sauce and then heated it up.

This used to be the best Chinese food in NYS. Used to tell people about it it was so good, the sesame chicken was the best ever. New ownership must have change recipes, quality is terrible now. Not the same Fortune Garden. 3 straight terrible experiences, food almost inedible. Sad, been going here for 40 years since I was a kid

A staple in the community for years and it shows with its quality and service!Every time we dine at Fortune Garden, it is consistently amazing! The prices are great for the portions, whether it’s takeout or dine in the service is always great, and the taste and flavors of whatever dish you get is going to be phenomenal! Our go to dishes are General Tso’s Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Scallion Pancakes, Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, and of course a fried rice of our choosing! You really can’t go wrong with anything though!I really hope Fortune Garden continues to thrive and provide Rockland with the top notch Chinese food we’ve grown accustomed to!

Fortune Garden offers pretty good Chinese food at a great price. Their lunch special is my go-to choice, combining quality and affordability. It's a reliable spot for those looking for tasty Chinese cuisine without breaking the bank. Overall, a solid option for a satisfying and budget-friendly meal.Despite a slight hiccup with the sesame chicken being a bit burnt, the staff at Fortune Garden impressed me by offering a replacement without any fuss. Growing up in Brooklyn, I'm accustomed to the opposite reaction, so their quick and accommodating response stood out. It's reassuring to experience such customer service, turning a minor issue into a positive interaction.
