We came up to visit the borscht belt museum and Sue recommended RDI. Dee was sweet and we felt at home. Best onion rings of our lives, frosty mugs, and a delightful dirty martini. Christine’s fam story is awesome and we look forward to taking another trip out to try more of the menu.
Great food. Great owner. Great atmosphere. Great location. Husband working tonight so I walked up for a cocktail and buffalo sliders, mmmm.

The Running Deer Inn is a family-owned restaurant with rich history. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and incredibly welcoming, making guests feel at home instantly. Two sweet little Yorkies greeted visitors at the door. The friendly service staff are attentive and personable. The food is great, delicious, and everything is a new favorite. There is a great variety of dishes, including creative vegetarian options. Specific meals mentioned include trivia and prime rib. The drink menu is extensive, with a fantastic variety of domestic beers and IPAs. Parking is never an issue with ample space. Special nights include paint and sip nights, live music, and bike night. The Running Deer Inn is just as much a restaurant as a fully stocked bar. It is a perfect spot for families, a great crowd, and anyone looking for a good time. This place has something for everyone.
