Naples Hotel Restaurant and Taproom

Up until this point we have had the best service in Naples. Me and my fiancé were bouncing around Main St. in Naples and stopped in for a drink here at the bar. The drinks were great and the bartenders were wonderful. It was a completely different story when we sat down at an outdoor table. After we were sat by the hostess, no one greeted us for over 20 minutes. All while a table sat next to us (who sat down 10 minutes later) were asked about drink orders, food orders, and if they needed any more time. No one even looked in our direction. After 25 minutes my fiancé went inside to notify the staff we had not been greeted yet. The original bartender ended up coming outside, getting our drink and food order, and bringing our drinks to us. Once again, all while the table next to us had their food brought out and waters refilled by the busser, who did not fill our empty waters (nor even look over) while we were less than 6 feet away. We waited, and waited, and waited, and after 45 minutes we got our soup. At this point in time the people next to us, again who sat after us, were finishing dessert and paying the bill. We then walked inside, notified the attentive bartender of what transpired, and left. Thankfully he comped our entire bill (considering we didn’t get half of it after an hour and 20 minutes), but nonetheless, if you want good table service, do NOT go here. If you want good drinks at the bar and attentive bartenders, this is your place. 2 stars for the worst service we’ve ever experienced (and we both worked in the service industry for 8+ years).

New management has done a good job of turning the restaurant and bar around. Had a great Birthday meal there. Steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes and summer Squash and Zucchini.

Beautiful night on the front deck. Staff was very friendly. Food took a long time to come. Burger was maybe 1/4 inch thick, beef short ribs had no flavor and no broth.

We loved the outdoor seating. Amazing craft drinks and appetizers menu, best old fashioned I have had in a while!

If you like surprises then this is the place for you! 9/10 times you will get a different drink or food than you ordered! Sometimes they forget halfway through the pour and you've gotta get the bartenders back to finish what they started. Can you start having live music again? Give us something, you have no competition and you're still losing.

A chilly day, started with an old fashioned, then beet salad and French onion soup. Everything was good- customer service was great. They really made you feel at home.

Staff is amazing. Food is also amazing. Will go next time I'm in there.

I’ve been coming here for a while, always enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar and the music venue downstairs. In recent months this place has become an incredible disappointment. I’ve been coming regularly still but that’s going to end. Bar service is incredibly slow, and shoddy. The good bartenders have vanished. Customer service is at an alarming low. And the policies and vibe of the place says “we don’t want your business”. I’m not sure who they’re trying to cater to but the place has been dead lately. I’m not the only one who’s feeling this way. I miss when I loved going the hotel. I hope someday it won’t be a drag again.

We just had dinner but next time we will book a room.

Came in during the grape festival for a night cap and Jen L the bartender was hustling!!! You could tell they had been slammed all day but she had a smile on her face and was eager to serve us! I've been here before for lunch when it was much less busy and the food was incredible and the serve was impeccable! Great job on revamping a classic staple of naples!

Great small town gathering spot. Been serving up local and regional music for years. Very unique atmosphere and vibes. Even listed on the NY haunted trails tour. This place has always offered fine dining, as long as I can remember. Historical building and charm gives visitors and tourists something to remember.
