I am still shaking my head at the high reviews for this place. This place is in a 1972 time warp and I don't think it has been cleaned since 1972. When you enter there is a table set for the wait staff, where they spend a lot of their time eating in public view as customers are walking by. Everything looks old and dirty, the carpet, the chairs, the tables, and try not to look up as the ceiling tiles are full of dust. The menu is littered with junk. It is astonishing that a little destination spot in wine country cannot offer a decent meal for a good value, and giant portions of the fish fry is not what I'm referring to. One item on the menu doesn't have meat so I got that. It was supposed to be a veggie wrap, but it was more like an iceberg lettuce wrap with brown lettuce and parts of the core. The sandwich came with 20 little french fries which turned out to be the best part of the meal. We asked for hot sauce and what they brought was an expired bottle of Frank's that was already turning brown. The older woman serving us had this constant hack every time she talked. Never covered her mouth. There is plenty of parking but the parking lot is full of potholes. This little destination town needs to up their game and demand better, you deserve it. Unfortunately, Subway is a far better value than Redwood Restaurant and we will not be returning. One star because the waitress took the veggie wrap off the bill.Vegetarian options: Other than the Greek wrap there are no options for those that are more health conscious, which is slightly shocking in the year 2024.

Friendly staff and great tasting Philly steak. Fries were excellent as well. Highly recommend them and will likely make the trip back out to Naples in the future to eat here again.

I've lived around here for a long time, and the Redwood is the definition of a last resort. Not a single thing other than the grilled cheese is anything other than passable - the strip steak, especially, was overcooked, dry, charred around the edges to the point of misery, and seeminly unseasoned. Once, I had a chocolate pie years ago, only to receive something so old, that had sat beside the banana pie for so long, that it tasted more of banana than chocolate. Completely unsatisfying food. I only come here once a year only to remind myself how uninspiring and bland their meals are. Service is usually friendly, if absent in the dining room. We were only asked if we wanted a refill of our water when the final bill was being passed out.
Food was pretty good and very cheap. Service was good. Has not been cosmetically upgraded in quite a long time but was very nice.

Lovely place!! Food is exceptional, we had the fish fry and it was HUGE! comes with choice of potato, soup or salad and a big basket of homemade bread. Tartar sauce is homemade so is the ranch dressing and the soup. Service is warm and friendly, atmosphere is so nostalgic... Loved everything about it. Highly recommend.

We ordered 4 prime ribs. One being a king cut. My 75 year old father has been going for years. Over half of his prime rib was fat. He was so upset that it wasn't rectified, that he will no longer go to this restaurant. He loved going to this restaurant. Especially for the prime rib. What the heck happened? On a whim we booked a cabin near here. We ate a few meals here Breakfast blueberry pancakes best ive had since childhood. Dinners were good as well. Every waitress we had was absolutely bubbly and great.
