oh my this food was so bad i wanted to put a short barrel shotgun in my mouth and pull the trigger, it's like they had a special education class cooking. awful service you can tell there's people only work there for drug money. next time i want to eat at this place i'll choose a denny's bathroom.

We really wanted to like Piccolo Ponte because we wanted to find a higher-end Italian restaurant. And it looked promising. Nice space, upstairs, well lit, attractive, and clean. The service is quick and attentive and very polite. The menu has all the good choices. Generous portions. Fried calamari was competent, with a fresh-tasting marinara. But otherwise, the food was disappointing. Nothing really -wrong- with it--good ingredients, pasta cooked to prefect doneness, as was everything else; but where's the flavor? Everything we had was strangely bland. Part of the reason was that it was undersalted but it was also not well flavored. If herbs were used, it was just a sprinkle. The piccata should be bright, lemony, buttery, with briny capers. It had none of that and the chicken was fried but not at all crispy. Vodka penne had a lot of cream-tomato sauce but it didn't taste much of cream or tomato. The stuffed filet of sole was generous and gorgeous but tasted like it could have been tilapia and the clam stuffing was not very clam-y. The roasted garlic potatoes were more baked than roasted. The spinach was pretty good: bright, fresh, cooked well and swimming in sauce. I punched up the leftovers at home the next day, adding herbs, salt, pepper, and it was much better. But we were sorry the preparation did not do justice to the ingredients and the rest of the experience.

Called ahead around 4:30 pm on Saturday to see if we needed a reservation and the woman on the phone said we didn't. We arrived around 7pm and the place was completely empty and closed. Would have been nice for them to give a heads up if they were about to close. Online hours are not accurate!

Don't come here unless you want to be absolutely stuffed full of food. The owner Albert stopped by and chats you up and then proceeds to bring you fresh food he just made. He brought us some seafood risotto that was fantastic. The butternut squash ravioli is unreal. We also had the swordfish and the sole which were fantastic. They also threw fresh garlic knots in our to go bag. Great friendly service.

First time visiting this town and eating at this restaurant. It's very pretty, with a nice menu. We shared a garden salad, very fresh, eggplant rollatini appetizer and zoodles with chicken and a few other veggies thrown in with an Alfredo sauce. For desert we ate a piece of pumpkin pie. Everything was fresh, not bad in taste, though not amazing. Service was spotty. Did not return while in town.

My favorite restaurant drink is St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur with Prosecco. Il PP was out of both when I arrived, but the owner Mike ran out and bought both. I'm impressed. Also in a major hunting area, as we are, I've never seen venison on any restaurant menu. Mike, the owner, says they will have venison on their menu two weeks from today 10--29-21. So check it out.

We arrived at 7 for our reservation and were seated promptly. We sat for 15 min before anyone even came to our table. The restaurant wasn't even 1/3 occupied. As we looked over the menu, the wine portion had no prices. We asked about a bottle, there was no wine list and we were told that the owner buys random bottles and so the waitress came back and was reading off each bottle and it's price. After deciding on our wine, we ordered our appetizer. The calamari was delicious. I ordered zuppa de pesce with garlic and oil, my husband got the swordfish special. The zuppa de pesce had a weird floral taste. Maybe saffron? I don't know, but it was overpowering. My husbands swordfish was good, but nothing special. We took our desserts home. Cheesecake and cannolis. Both were delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. For the amount of money we paid for dinner as it was my birthday, I was underwhelmed. I may try it again, but I would stick with basics like chicken parm.

Ate here for the first time tonight. What wonderful experience!!! Perfect location, great view, friendly hardworking staff, DELICIOUS food …good vibes all around! We will be back to try more menu items for sure. The pics are both shrimp piccata, one with linguine the other with roasted potatoes and fresh fresh sautéed green beans.

Terrible! Long wait. Chicken Marsala at 20.00 all pasta, tiny piece of chicken with barely any sauce. No salad or bread! Mussels appetizer in basil sauce very good. But Nonas meatballs with Ricotta. 2 had a tiny piece of Ricotta on them and sauce was horrible. Taking advantage of hipster crowd. Never again!

Really good food and views from the outdoor seating on the patio. Loved the staff. Get the antipasto charcuterie board - full size.

What a wonderful, memorable meal! We could only leave five stars, but it should really be ten. We arrived an hour before closing, but we were welcomed to a table of our choice. The hostess and server were bubbly and friendly. The food was flavorful and prepared perfectly. Very happy guests!! Take my advice, EAT HERE!!!!!
