Applebee's Grill + Bar

The staff at Applebees on Commercial Drive deserves a huge round of applause for doing the best despite being short-staffed on a Saturday night. Three/four waitstaff were covering the entire restaurant, and food was coming out super slow, but our waitress continued to check in and thanked us repeatedly for our patience.

It’s a family-friendly atmosphere, just as it’s always been, but maybe not the best scenario for a hungry toddler.

The take out experience was awful. Absolutely no sense of organization whatsoever. Placed order 1 hour before pickup time and waited over 45 minutes AFTER pickup time. The hot dish was cold. I won’t be back.

Pretty good Applebee's. My meal was really good and so was my waitress. The wait time for the food was a bit long, but as I said, it was very good. A good place to stop for a meal.

Bar service was great, drinks were great. But there was a guy that came in looking pretty homeless and he smelled really bad. So we had to move.

The food is always good when you dine-in but when ordered through Uber eats or door dash it seems to never be the same. Only other thing was the bathroom cleanliness which was due to a uncaring customer , not there fault

We got in pretty fast. (Wish they would have told us that it would be a long wait.) We were seated, the waitress came took our orders and then brought us our drinks. After about 15 minutes she apologized and said things were backed up in kitchen and our appetizers would be out soon. After another half hour she brings out our dinners and no appetizers. She again said she was sorry and the kitchen was backed up. I told her to forget the appetizers as we wanted them before our meal. No offense against the waitress she apologized several times. The dinners were both just warm. As I sit here waiting for my bill a waitress brings out our appetizers which I didn’t want after dinner. She took them back.

Their 9.99 chicken sandwich, fries, and drink meal is UNBEATABLE. Yummy 😋 . The chicken is so massive it hangs out the bun and is nice and juicy. Fries are endless also. Get to APPLEBEE'S and enjoy the food.
