Italian comfort food with an early 20th century vibe. Visiting from out of town our fellow diners as well as the minimal staff were friendly and welcoming. The sole waiter moved with the speed of The Flash yet had a kind word for every guest making for a pleasant relaxed dinner in spite of the frantic pace. We have been driving the Thruway since 1990 visiting relatives and never stopped in Utica . Next trip lunch will be at Cafe del Buono.

Visited with family a few weekends ago..
Ordered veal piccata, fried scallops, and chicken Marsala. Each dish was outstanding. The veal and the Marsala were easily the BEST we’ve EVER had while dining out! The service was outstanding as well. As far as we’re concerned, Cafe del Buono is the greater Utica area's finest Italian restaurant- and that’s really saying something considering the wealth of excellent alternatives. Highly recommend!

Sweet little spot with enthusiastic and hard working staff. Excellent and unique Italian delicacies. Feels like visiting your favorite aunt for lunch or dinner.

Parking: If the spaces near the restaurant run out, the Hobby Lobby next door has lots.
