Food is very decent typical american chines buffet style. Recieving 1 stars because a gentlemen was very deceptive at the cash register. Implying my card was not working, saying he tried it 8 times while the machine said "enter price" or "enter amount". It was clearly working. He asked for my private information in which I did not give him. Then the gentlemen proceeded to follow through with his deception and placed a bag over the card and then swipe again....
We have been going to the East Dynasty Buffet for years and were cautious after all the negative reviews about going to the Sky Buffet. A group of 8 of us went and found the only a couple of changes. The signs have changed, it is painted sky blue, the food is arranged in different areas, the ice cream dispenser is gone, and they added some new dishes. The bathrooms are STILL dark, the food was hot and good for buffet good. The salad bar was clean and fresh. I didn't care...
The food was good. Everything that I ate off the buffet was fresh. The staff was not the friendliest, and most of them were joking around on their phones the whole time. The place is not too clean, but hey, it’s a Chinese buffet.
