Terrible day service

The best hibachi grill in Utica

If you like Japanese cuisine, you will enjoy the Red Samurai steakhouse. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and the food is good with decent-sized portions. Lots of traditional Japanese foods to choose from. Such as sushi, seafood, steak, and hibachi offerings. The chefs put on a good show, or you can sit in the traditional dining area if you just want to enjoy your dinner without all the theatrics. Family-friendly menu with something for everyone. I recommend you check it out if you enjoy traditional Japanese foods.

Love there, went there for two birthdays and fathers day..... gentlemen that do the cooking are funny and really make it about you!!! Even made me a flower out of a balloon for my birthday

The food was great, portion size was large, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I had the hibachi chicken and rice. I also got sweet potatoe roll and sweet potatoe tempura. I have to admit it was delicious. I rate the meal a 8 out of 10. I will be back again to eat at this astonishing restaurant.

1 star because the “Jen” girl that works there makes up her own prices for extras. Every time we go there it’s a different price for the same thing.
She’s a horrible server as it is… we literally sigh when we see we have her as the server. She’s slow, doesn’t come back for an ungodly amount of time while we can see her texting in the back. She does awkward things…weird experience every time. I’m talking the 10th time we’ve had this person over 2 years. This time was too much.
1 star only because of her and her service.

I have eaten here and also picked up many DolrDash orders here. One time I saw a guy try to start a fight with the employees. The boss lady is short and small and never backed down. I highly respect this place and how they dealt with conflict
