“Okay... so I've been trying to find the best afghan food and it's been a struggle. I also don't have much to compare it to but at the same time I know what good food is and let me tell you.... THIS IS IT. It's cool because it's casual vibes. They give everything to you in a to go box so that's interesting, although they have seating for you. I got the beef bargh, chicken tikka and the lamb chops with my party. And omg the only thing they are missing are mantoos! But I am willing to drive from Astoria for this place so that says it all. It was SO SO good. I took my leftovers home and immediately devoured it and followed my meal with a food coma. Certainly want to gate keep this place but they deserve the recognition.“
“We have been looking for somewhere in nassau that makes shwarma and finally found Halal Kebab. Food was fresh, and flavorful! The prices are very reasonable.The very nice gentleman helping me gave me a rice pudding on the house when I said it was my first time there. “A clean setting and prompt friendly service. It was lunch time and we were the only table with guests. The fact it's Ramadan definitely contributed. The food was good but nothing extraordinary. Did I say that the outfit is not Sami's kebab anymore; it changed hands and changed its name two years ago according to the waiter.“

“Amazing I had the Mix kabob platter chicken and lamb, with rice, super good They gave me this white sauce and green sauce that complemented the whole meal Served with bread and this spinach that made it all come together, definitely recommend, the older lady that makes the food is such a sweetheart, definitely coming back Thank you Pamir Kabab“
“Good food; reasonable prices!! Only thing I didn't like is that the blinds were drawn over all the windows, creating a fluorescent-only "office-like" atmosphere...in a restaurant!Curiously, the bread was pretty boring but the rice actually had some flava! Also odd, the chicken tikka was a bit dry but the lamb kabobs were juicy. Salad was all right though iceberg lettuce (but obviously fresh and even with a few thin strands of raddichio thrown in)...strangest of all, however, was the grilled veggies side-order: a whole tomato and bell pepper -- nice big ones, too -- but not chopped and kinda burnt all over instead of the gently seared slices served elsewhere!But will still come back fo' mo' 'bobs 'n' rice!!“
“I’ve been eating here since I was a kid, however, nowadays, it just doesn’t hit the same anymore. The quality of the food is decent and it doesn’t taste as flavorful as it did 7 years ago and the prices increased significantly. My go-to menu item was a grilled chicken sandwich combo and it costed $6 (7 years ago haha). I don’t know how much it costs now because I didn’t examine the menu like that.“
“I was so happy with this food I was talking about it for a few days. All of the dishes I ordered were delicious and full of spices and flavor. If you have never tried Afghan food, I suggest you try it soon. Restaurant is quite roomy with two eating areas and a bar area in the middle. The young man who served us was extremely pleasant and helpful.“
