The chicken cutlets need a moment of their own on this review page! My Sicilian husband was speechless and might have even teared up a bit (he’ll never admit it) when he tried them— bringing him back to his childhood days of his Nonno and Nonna cooking after spending the day in the garden together. If nothing more than good food, Dom’s deli’s authentic, Italian family recipes provide happy, joyful memories for my family about one’s who are no longer with us— something...
I was not impressed with the Southwest chicken cutlet sandwich…it was really dry, and the chipotle sauce was very overpowering. Wish it had more lettuce and tomatoes…I also don’t know why everyone raves about the chicken strips, thought they were bland. Overall decent sub and chicken.
I have been to Dominick's a few times. Service is always pleasant, never any issues. I like the ambiance of an old fashioned no nonsense NY style deli. In my recent visit, I ordered a sandwich they listed as the Bella Calabria. I ordered mine on semolina bread. The sandwich was good. I didn't give it 5 stars because I felt it could have been a little better. The broccoli Rabe wasn't sautéed with garlic or chili pepper and wasn't seasoned with salt and pepper....
