Used to be my go-to when I first moved to the area a year ago. Not sure what changed but over the past few months, the food got so much worse. The summer rolls are now poorly wrapped and fall apart easily. Bun Bo Hue used to have a very tasty broth, now it is extra spicy without the flavor. They used to be very generous with portion size too… now it’s just tons of noodles and not much meat. I thought I was just unlucky and got a bad order once but it happened over and over...
We have been looking for Bun Bo Hue somewhere on Long Island since we moved here and needless to say it is very much lacking in Nassau and non-existent in Suffolk. This place has a very decent Bun Bo Hue! We had the pork chop bahn mi, VERY GOOD. So happy to find some real Viet food on Long Island!
This is a non pretentious little Thai Restaurant. The food is good, and it's paired with sift Rock playing in the background. Simple food at a good price, what's not to like.
