Today is the day I stopped going to Umberto's the last time I went there and order the Sicilian pie it cost me $37.50 it's high but that was okay until today 4/13/24 when I was told define now costs $46.00 I was told the sausage cost $9 and the pepperoni was $7 lucky together there will be a half a pound of meat not prime rib just sausage a half a hundred dollars for one pie ? I have bought pizza here since 1966 remember watching the owner make the pies he too was a kid just starting out sorry to say goodbye just too much money for a pie ?/Sorry to say I've been going there since it opened I am that old and I will always go there because I love the Sicilian pizza. Hopefully I won't die soon because I've got more pizza to eat.??

I applaud the effort because we came in six wheel chairs strong and four people walking for a total of 10 people. I don't disagree much with where we had to sit to eat certain foods however business is business and I understand all in all the food was great. I would have given five stars if all else was equal.
Went with a large group before heading to Citi Field for the NYCFC game. Everything was great, they knew we had a bit of a time crunch and went above and beyond to make sure we got in and out and they didnt skip a beat

I’ve been to Umberto’s many times (takeout and dine-in). Their pizza is great and I highly recommend it! Love their margherita pie (best I’ve ever had). I do think their service is terrible. Went in to dine-in and it took 15 minutes to just get a waiter to come over and ask for our order and another 5 minutes for water. The eggplant parm tasted fishy and it wasn’t very good.I would recommend take-out but avoid the dine-in option.
Worst experience with New Hyde Park location placed order on app as I usually do theu delivered the wrong item I called they said kitchen woul remake after a 10 min call I asked I needed to send back was told no keep it so I gave it to the kids, delivery guy comes with correct item then says he has to the the wrong item back I told him I gave it to the kids said he needed it back. Then call the back and they say they never ask for it back, they have no idea what they are doing is it under new mgmt. TRAIN YOUR STAFF, I understand mistakes happen bur this was handled so poorly from mgmt down

Reading these reviews wondering did I make a mistake? Is this a franchise ? Really ? Pizza from here is always fantastic and I am from Brooklyn . Old shool and I just had a slice LOVE IT ! I hope some one reads this that is looking for the Best New York pizza come here hands down. I ordered Baked Ziti to take home hope it is not a mistake I already are the slice three words if I may off the hook.
Visited last night my wife and I. I have been going to this place for over 35 years. Shame the food has really gone down hill. Ordered 2 apps and 3 dinners with one to go. Service was excellent. Even my wife made a comment about the music. They had loud ghetto music. Why not have traditional Italian music. I was shocked she said that. Food had little to no taste. Sorry you will not be seeing me anymore. I DONT RECOMMEND YOU

Had a gathering of 10 friends last Sunday. From the moment we walked in everything was great. Food was excellent and the prices were really reasonable. Big shout out to Eric, our server, who did everything to make sure food drinks and group photos were perfect. Having such a large group on a Sunday, reservations were made and the table set up and placement were terrific. Thank you to everyone from the host to service staff.

I would have expected a solid experience, some of the dishes were great -not all, and service from server to bus people not good - too much asking on our part for the basic. They have no tact.
