We visited New Paltz for the first time yesterday and during our restaurant search we came across Agave and decided to give it a try. We were pleased with our decision. Loved the elote and salsa verde tamale. The tacos were excellent! I was especially pleased with the shrimp taco. They just added their homemade flan to the menu which we enjoyed. I found the warm pineapple upside down cake heavenly and that is a dessert option I would never ever go with so I was thrilled I gave it a try.

10/10 experience. Not only was our server a sweetheart and attentive but the food, INSANE everyone should try the Birra fries and their drinks are also amazing. Definitely will be back! With our 8 drinks included the bill was extremely affordable for the party I was with. Definitely recommend!!!

Service was great, the guy who served us was friendly and helpful. but I'm not going to lie, being from nyc, the food here are just average but nothing bad about it. It just need more lime and spices.
