The food is excellent. It's my favorite pizza in the area. We also really enjoy the spaghetti with meatballs and the Ceasars salad with croutons from the fresh bread they bake on site. Dessert, get the cannolis!

Excellent pizza and other very authentic Italian fare (the pepper stuffed with caponata was extraordinary) makes this no ordinary pizza joint, but a high quality restaurant. Loved the fennel and radicchio salad, too. And don't miss the fried artichokes! As a native of Rome, where artichokes are a big part of the local cuisine, these guys make w flawless version.

I usually don’t give 5 star but this place is up to the mark.We went there on Saturday evening and didn’t realize that we should make a reservation. When arrive, the team took our request and get us the table in less then 20 min. The place was as busy as it could get but that service was amazing. Everyone was is welcoming and friendly.What blow my mind is the sourdough. ???? They provide free sourdough with butter and olive oil.As a New York City local, I have been to hundreds of pizza places so I always have high expectations when it comes to coal friend pizza. Apizza! had authentic taste of pizza. I will go here again whenever I am in near by town in upstate New York.

I’m in New Paltz almost every weekend and wanted to try this place. It was about 4pm, and when you come in the door there is a bakers rack full of bread loaves w/ a sign that said fresh baked bread $8.00 - $10.00 Great! I’ll pick one up on my way out. Sat down and ordered a medium pie w/ sausage. I was told there would be a slight wait because they were sweeping the oven, okay no problem, ordered a beer. The pie came and looked good, It could have used another minute in the oven but not a deal breaker, it was still a good pie. My only real issue was when the bill came I asked my server for a loaf of bread to go and was told they couldn’t sell me one because they needed them for the dinner service, I said okay no problem. Then the pizza chef over heard and also said sorry but they needed them for dinner service, i said no problem! So i go to bathroom and on my way back to the table I hear the same people say to another customer, oh you came in for the bread? okay I can sell you one and proceeded to bag the bread for him. Really? I wasn't in the mood to argue or debate, especially in front of their other customers. Maybe his money was better than mine, Idk. Just take the sign down and put the bread in the kitchen if you don't want to sell it!2/12/24 - Thank you for a sincere reply and offering to make it right. It’s not my intention to hurt anyone’s business, it just felt like an insult at the time. I edited my review to more accurately reflect my experience and of course 5 stars!

They are, HANDS DOWN.... the BEST PIZZA around!! These pies were for takeout, but a few weeks before I was there and learned you have to go early to get a seat otherwise the waits about 45 minutes. But it's worth it.Most restaurants in New Paltz are closed Mondays, but APizza is open Mondays and closed Wednesdays.They are not your typical pizza.My friend had Chicken Parm to go and loved it and said it was 2 meals.Vegetarian options: Tons of veggie toppings availableDietary restrictions: Vegan cheeze available at no extra charge. Cheeze available all the time.Parking: The parking lot is a downhill gravel lot with uneven black top spots. There are meters on the street also.

What a quaint and fun little spot! My partner and I each ordered 12 inch pizzas - the crust is amazing. We ordered the special artichoke app, and a Caesar salad to go with and all dishes were dee-lish. The service is excellent, professional and friendly, and the ambiance is lovely.
