Would not go back. Very slow service. Sat with empty cups a couple of times. Ordered the fried dumplings, they were bland, previously frozen and mushy inside. Pad Thai was ok at best flavor wise and way too many bean sprouts. I feel I had more bean sprouts than noodles. Also ordered Pad Ga Prow flavor was good. Something did not agree with my stomach and immediately was sick, like really bad. Banana fried dessert had a ridiculous amount of whipped cream. Would definitely not recommend or go back.

This mom and pop thai restaurant in the busy part of new paltzs is a treasure. The tom yum soup no matter if you get chicken or shrimp seafood or veggies is absolutely spectacular its spicy and savoury and making you want more. The duck curry with mushrooms was like a I was transported to Thailand and enjoy the culture. As an appetizer the shrimp roll was like a tasty treat. And my only thing about atmosphere it needed some music or something but otherwise great place will definitely be bac.

The food was questionable all the way down to the coconut rice mango. Parts of the mango were already going bad, and they served it anyway. Made me think what else was going bad and served. Our stomach hurt so bad, my BF got really sick.

Pretty good Thai food. Have had a couple of interesting dishes here. It doesn't suffer from the common Thai restaurant affliction, which is everything kind of tasting the same, and relying too much on sweetness. Solid choice, made even more surprising by the location - in a small college town far away from any major

Same management as the former Lemongrass, recipe and service are still top notch. Although I do admit that the old decor was more traditional Thai which I appreciate more.

Just the best place to go when you're in the mood for Thai. From Long Island to new Paltz... can't go wrong! Great owners too!!!

We absolutely love Bangkok Cafe. We are long time area residents and this is our favorite restaurant in the area. It’s the only place you can get really authentic, spicy Thai food in the region. The employees are extremely friendly people as well.

This place is a hidden gem! As a vegan, I was able to find many options and they were accommodating when I asked for my pad Thai to be made without egg or fish sauce. For the pad Thai, all the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the noodles were the perfect texture. The only thing I would change is that the tofu was a bit dry -- if they made the tofu fresh, it would be legitimately perfect. The portion was huge as well. Everything was flavored very well. I also got a small vegetable soup, which had a very flavorful vegetable broth (that can be hard to come by these days!). The entire place was spotless and decorated very nicely and the service was great!

Great Thai place in New Paltz. We ordered pad thai and the tom yum seafood soup. The pad thai came in a generous portion and was delicious. The flavor of the tom yum seafood soup was on point, with the perfect amount of tanginess and spiciness. Though for the price, I felt it wasn't as filling as I would expected it to be. If that's the only thing you are ordering, be sure to order something else as well or else you'd be left feeling hungry. Otherwise, we had a good time here. Great ambiance and our sever was very attentive.
