One thing that marks a great caterer is its staff, who performed their responsibilities very professionally. They showed up on time and went right to work in a very efficient manner. We did not feel rushed or chaotic... everything was done. Additionally, clean- up was also done extremely well. The equipment suppliers noted how well it was done. AND the food was FANTASTIC! So many friends came up to us throughout the night commenting on their meals, salad, even to make sure we knew how delicious the bread was! (Which then reminded us to make sure we sat down to eat). The team also sent us home with an amazing box of leftovers of our dinner options and dessert. Food was a huge priority to us and we were so thrilled to find a company that not only had amazing food but also offered such amazing support and detailed planning. From our first proposal, they provided us with extremely detailed information. They took care of setting up all the rentals with the rental company (events unlimited) and provided us with a great seating chart, timeline, and more. On top of having all of this detail, they were extremely communicative, flexible, and kind. They were especially helpful the week leading up to the wedding as our weather outlook was not great and they were calling for rain on the day of the wedding. We were so close to being in the clear for our ceremony and cocktail hour, but had a downpour right before the wedding began - and the entire team worked so quickly to move everything under the tent and still make it feel AWESOME! I also wanted to note how great the tasting and then cake-tasting experience was. My husband was unable to join me so my man of honor and I drove up to Bridge Creek for the tasting and it was a really lovely experience. They also made an iconic dessert from my hometown (Gooey Butter Cake from St. Louis) and were so open to adjustments to make sure it tasted like home! We opted for a small ceremonial cake as we were doing a large dessert table so did not place too much pressure on the cake element. Well - the cake was DELICIOUS! When we went to pick up our 3 samples, they were not only delicious but so beautiful. I could go on and on about how wonderful Bridge Creek was. So I want to comment on one last element. The Staff. The staff was kind, attentive, and worked diligently to make our wedding everything we dreamed of and more! We hired Bridge Creek Catering for our September 2023 wedding at Senate Garage and everything from the food, drinks, set-up and service, exceeded our expectations. The tasting was such a fun and delicious experience (so much food!), and also a nice moment to meet Jessica and TJ in person before the wedding day. Throughout the entire process, the BCC team went above and beyond to help us craft our menu, signature drinks, ideal cake, the rentals, timeline for the evening, floor plan, and more. Having Bridge Creek cater our wedding at Senate Garage was the easiest decision we made for wedding planning. Jamie, Jessica and the Chef were so easy to work with. They made planning the wedding so easy. On the day of, the waitstaff was incredible--reaching out to my husband and I to make sure we were eating, letting me know of any issues and discrepancies and just overall extremely nice. And of course, the food was incredible. The chef worked with us during our tasting to make sure we had the right cut of meat and also provided great alternative suggestions.
