A real gem of a place with an excellent selection of games. I only stopped by a few times during my stay in New Paltz, but each time was wonderful, and I can only wish more of these kinds of places existed elsewhere too. Great sense of community here

This is one of my favorite hang out spots, they have amazing owners that run all kinds of events, I personally love the Tuesday open mic and the Thursday trivia night! They also always have great tea/coffee drinks and sometimes even food specials! Highly recommend, 10/10

GREAT coffee. Went with my vegan parents and they had the best milk alternatives and coffee. I got a whole milk matcha that was also great. The barista was so awesome, so kind and knowledgeable

The best coffee in all of new paltz. Everyone there is extremely friendly. There’s a large assortment of board games and the one shot dnd sessions, sprites and dice board games on Wednesdays, and other ttrpgs!

10/10 I go weekly to play dnd and if that's what you're looking to do this is the best place for it. Outside of that, try a shaken espresso, and it'll change your life!

Nice place. Doesn’t open till 10am though…
I thinks that’s just crazy but maybe that’s just me.

Very irritating though when there is little to no seating due to the overwhelming amount of youngsters in the evening.

Which is why I prefer to go to coffee shops in the morning but 10am?!?! Crazy. Just speaks volumes about the work ethic in this town… smh

I like this place a lot. But as a morning person its definitely NOT the place to go.

Unfortunately they open at 9:30am or so… which as a coffee shop is absolutely insane in my opinion.

Yes they’re open later which is nice. But not everyone is a night owl.

Wish they would cater more to the actual adults in this town rather than college kids that have no money.

Just bad business in my opinion.

Overall the place is great but to open up so late in the morning/afternoon is just absolutely absurd. 3/5 overall experience

Best place to play D&D ever. Also, the food and coffee is amazing, they do a great job. But mostly D&D.

Vegetarian options: There are many vegan options to choose from.

I love bringing my son (7) on the weekends. He enjoys playing the different games, even if we make up the rules :) The community is super friendly and welcoming. The drinks and pastries are great. I miss the brunch menu they used to have though.

The baristas are very skilled, the pastries are fantastic, and the weekend brunches are divine! Can't wait to go back!

In a village full of cafe's, the Guild stands out not just for the coffee, but for the open and friendly community that crowds its cozy rooms. The owners have made it a welcoming and safe place for all whether you're there for a cut throat game of Catan, MTG draft rounds between bites of delicious scones, or enjoying a pint with your party in your latest DnD session.

And it's not just gamers who can be found tucked in there. Writers, artists, and people just curling up with a good book and a cup come to soak in the laughter and just good vibes.

See for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Dietary restrictions: A variety of gluten-free and vegan pastries

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly especially during the mid-day. Perfect place to get out of the house and play a game with the kids over coffee.
