The food is excellent and the people are nice. The only minor issue is that their dining room is on the small side. So I try to request an outdoor table. They're better than La Charla's, (which is also fine). But Los Jalapenos has the best Mexican food in N.P.

I absolutely love this mexican spot in New Paltz. I always come here when I am visiting the area. Tacos are appetizing. Last time I was there I got my order to go and they were busy but so attentive. I also appreciate Stuart the manager or owner being so accommodating !! Also get their hot sauce if you're getting a to go order.....killer,in a good way, stuff

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We were camping, and my daughter requested tacos for her birthday. We did a quick internet search and found this place. From the moment we walked in, the service was above and beyond! There was a 10 minute wait, but they made us drinks, let us taste and sample some items from the drink menu, and treated my daughter like a birthday princess making her special drinks too. My specialty margarita was delicious. I ordered the Mole enchiladas, which were to die for. My daughter ordered a special dessert for her birthday. The ice cream on it came out a little melted due to the summer heat, which we didn't care about, but he immediately said we weren't charged for it; a special birthday present. Delicious food, and above and beyond great service. Definitely recommend.
