My wife and I would stay at this cute airbnb in The town of New Paltz NY it's called the tree house because it's actually up a tree with steps its design is parisian .While visiting this wonderful town we would not miss eating at Mcgillicuddys. It is about a 10 min walk and seeing the old stone houses was amazing. When you walk in the waitress is welcoming and the atmosphere is good .you have to try the Wings ! Voted best in NY yes its that good.the burger is really good .the drinks will make you smile for sure. There are other restaurants in the vincity but Mcgillicuddys stand alone .

Lived in new paltz for a while now and have supported this restaurant so much, either it being going for a meal, trivia, or nightlife. But I no longer can give them money after being treated, and watching other regulars be treated like we weren't people. Recently, it's gotten worse. It's becoming less and less of a safe college bar, with trustworthy workers. It's becoming less and less of a family restaurant. Expect better from restaurants like this.

We went on a Monday so place was relatively empty. Food was good soups, wings and things. Plenty of space to dance.
Such great staff! Tuesday nights are always a blast with their free poker games. Marie is fantastic — she really takes the time to get to know the customers and make everyone feel welcome. Pete is awesome too — always friendly and on top of things. Great place with an even better team!

Just got takeout. Got home and ordered pretzel bites and cheese. Confirmed on the phone pretzel bites with cheese. Get home no cheese. Kind of disappointing since I was trying to just get some comfort food and they didn’t get the order right. Drove 12 minutes there and 12 minutes back to be let down. Unfortunately a one star.
