Nice folks and a good, basic, tasty solid selection of Mexican food. They have a separate bar room with a full bar which is nice. Atmosphere is basic but warm. I can't argue with anyone's opinions written in their negative review but the person who called the servings "sparse" must need their dinner served in a wheel-barrow.

We were driving on the thruwayand didn't want lunch at the rest stop. I found Orale, a very easy exit from 87. The totilla soup was FANTASTIC!! I've been dreaming about it. And will plan to stop here next time we are driving on the thruway.

If you're looking for traditional al pastor tacos that's perfectly cooked and seasoned, then this is the place! The tacos were served piping hot (as they should) with the tastiest rice and beans. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their menu!

Fantastic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant, complete with a handful of local regulars getting wasted at the bar. Better dining experience than Mohonk Mountain

Last week we were driving around and I was hungry so we decided to stop at this little place. Glad we did!!! We sat at the bar. Norberto the owner and bartender approached us really quick and made us feel welcomed. The drinks were phenomenal. I had the enchiladas my husband had the beef soup everything was exactly what we needed authentic Mexican food and the prices are really fair. Good food, good drinks & good people. I'm glad that I ended up here and not in a big chain restaurant.

We're staying in New Paltz just steps away from Orale Mexico so ordered some takeout. I wanted Tres Leche cake, but they were out. My husband bought me a flan instead. I don't like flan, but I'm in LOVE with Orale Mexico's flan. It's solid, not slimy and not too eggy. Just really smooth, soothing and not too sweet. The plantains are yummy too. I'll be popping by for more before we leave town.

Tried to call to place an order. Told by an automated message to press 1 for take out. I press 1 and then am told to check my text messages and hangs up on me! So rude!! So I look at my text. I have to click on the link to order online. I just wanted fish tacos and rice & beans ? guess I'll have to satisfy my cravings elsewhere.

For years we have passed this restaurant and have always wanted to stop, but never had a chance to. Today was our day! It was a beautiful afternoon so we parked in the back, walked into the bar area and asked if we could sit outside. Initially we were just going to have a drink but we decided to snack. Hubby ordered queso con chorizo, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Huevos rancheros, so rare to find that on a lunch menu, so I was pleased...did not disappoint....eggs were over easy, and the sauce was great! It was definitely a knife and fork dish. The margaritas and sangrias were also very good. Next time we will have entrees, as we will be back! Bartender and waiter were both super friendly and excellent service!

I've been wanting to try this place for years. Finally did today. We did a pickup order on DoorDash. Wanted to try a bunch of things. We also ordered a side of guacamole for $3.00. Now, this place would be getting 5 stars if we hadn't ordered that guacamole. The food was ready quickly, the staff was friendly, and the place is SO CUTE and looks like so much fun. When we got home we quickly realized the taste was PHENOMENAL. The problem is that if a side of guacamole is $3.00, it should not be a 1/8 cup sized container. There were barely 2 tablespoons of guacamole. That was laughable to the point that I asked my boyfriend if he thought the guacamole we saw was free EXTRA guacamole in addition to the side we ordered. Alas, it wasn't. Honestly, the tacos are the best and most authentic and freaking delicious of the ones I've tried in the New Paltz area. INCREDIBLE. The lesson to be learned here is simple: If you want to love this place to the point of a 5-star rating, don't order the side of guacamole.
