The perfect dive bar with the perfect music. Kayo is definitely the best bartender and a great vibe. It’s worth the drive. $3.50 for a shit to twirl its and I will definitely be returning.

It's definitely a dive-y bar. I went on a live music night. It is a small interior space; and the seating is limited in the main area to the bar or small tables on the opposite wall.

Pros. - Talking to people - back patio is.. ok
Cons. - $8 covers for shitty bands - Creepy stalker bachelors EVERYWHERE that scare off all the women (and I am a woman) and their behavior is NEVER reprimanded… - the bands are not good and they’re WAY too loud - no food - it’s CASH ONLY which is hella inconvenient in 2024 - the bathrooms NEVER have toilet paper or even running water and the door doesn’t lock either - some bartenders are great (lol katy) but the rest are super negligent towards new customers and tend to only serve the regulars and people they know which is super rude - the bar owner’s dog is AGGRESSIVE and growls at customers and bites people ( I also know people who’ve been bitten)
The worst part is… these are all mostly fixable things!! But they just won’t.
But I guess you can’t teach an old mountain dog new tricks.

THEY DO NOT ACCEPT OUT OF STATE ID!! My girlfriend & I were celebrating her 21st and decided to stop here. Her ID expired that day so she brought other forms of ID to be sure she’d get in. She explained to the bouncer, he understood and took her other forms of ID with no issue. Didn’t go so well for me. I’m 22 and have a New Hampshire ID. The bouncer looked at my ID, said “that’s not gonna work.” and threw my real ID on the ground. I was taken aback but after a moment, I picked it up off the ground and said “No problem at all, I have multiple other forms of ID on me.” And he was not even willing to look at them. I came prepared with other forms of ID because I figured I might get questioned for being out of state and I didn’t want any issues, especially on my girlfriend’s 21st birthday. Unfortunately that didn’t matter. The bouncer knew my other forms of ID were real but he just couldn’t handle being wrong. We ended up going to P&G’s, where police officers checked our ID’s, and we both got in with no issue. The crowd was much more lively there too!
