I am saddened that I used to love taco shack and go there every chance I could and now will not be going. Today I ordered a chicken burrito over the phone and instead of it coming with good quality shredded chicken as it always was, it was made with popcorn chicken bites and was not good and I threw it away. When I called I was told that I would have to explicitly ask for shredded chicken... Who makes a burrito with popcorn chicken?

I celebrated my nomination last night in this fine place. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a terrific evening and the venue was undoubtedly the reason for the happy gathering. The waiters participated in a sweet manner, the meals were great and my guests were extremely overjoyed. We shall surely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.

A simple place where you can get signature Mexican dishes like tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc but honestly not all that. I ordered the Al Pastor Burrito and it was definitely huge and filling, but the flavors weren’t as great as I’ve tasted at other spots.

We were on the road looking for places to eat and decided to stop here. We ordered chimichangas, nachos supreme and tacos among the four of us. The food was great! The steak was not as flavorful as we would have liked but definitely would recommend this place!
Simple, well done, fast. Anyone whining about atmosphere has no vision, no imagination. Outdoor seating and chill ac indoors. I recommend eating in. This is my speculation based on decades of experience just due to the toasting and wrapping style.

Bland, no seasoning, no salt, no flavor. Rice tasted old, beans straight from a can and chicken enchiladas so old and tasteless even my dog wouldn't eat them. This place use to be good. Not anymore. There are at least 3 other Mexican joints in New Paltz that are far superior to Taco Shack, go there instead.
