Sometimes on occasion can be fun and packed it's one of thebonly 18+ places around so that's good for younger people but usually theres maybe 30 people there it's chill pool table, dance floor, and decent music.... sometimes.

They really needed to wash their floor, it was sticky everywhere and it was grossing my friends and i out. Other than that, not a bad time.

Some larger gentleman with a red shirt who works there is a real j**** I asked him for a drink and he disdainfully said "I'm not a bartender" in this smug, "I'm so much better than that" voice, despite being behind the bar constantly. Not really sure what his job even was. Otherwise the place could really use AC. It'd also be nice if they took credit/debit cards Pros: There's room to dance and there's pool, so that's cool

Good drinks and staff and they allow under 21, which is what we needed, but the place was dead. Most likely all the students were gone for thanksgiving weekend so we went at a bad time.

One of the most fun bars in new paltz. Pool table is great, locals are friendly, live music is always interesting.

I've been going to 80's night at Cabaloosa since I was 18. It's the best time to go when SUNY New Paltz is on break because it can get SUPER crowded and smell like armpit! Sometimes no amount of booze can hide the smell. The 80s night DJ plays all the hits you want to hear. There are drink specials for ladies, which I really enjoy. If you aren't a lady the drinks are still very reasonably priced. Now that I am older I like that I can go upstairs to Oasis which is a much more chill atmosphere.
