Picked up an order, and unfortunately they forgot 2 special rolls. I realized this when I got home. Called them immediately and 3 times afterwards to rectify this to get a refund on what they charged but they haven’t made it right. Aside from mediocre sushi, they shouldn’t hustle customers like this. Shameful, plenty of great places to eat in New Paltz.

Super busy. But the food is good, wait was fine, and staff friendly. They have other food besides sushi here, which is nice for the people who don't like sushi.

Food wasn't spectacular but it was okay. Some dishes are better than others. Service was great, very attentive but then again the place was empty lol. Atmosphere was kind of dull, nothing special. Would i go again? Probably not.

Sushi is horrible. I ordered two special rolls. Couldn’t eat one at all, the other was bad.

Sushi and Sashimi great. Ordered a Katsu chicken and a pork rice bowl. The meat was so dry and flavorless. I brought them home and will try to resurrect them… so disappointed.

Seems to have gone downhill. The service was terrible .. felt like I was a burden for coming in. Almost like I inconvenienced the waitress. The place used to be good but not anymore. I won't return.

A mediocre approach to the "classics". Everything appears unseasoned and bland. Instead of being delicate with a hint of sweet and heat that you find at establishments that execute it well, the beef dishes taste like tough, shoe leather-like food. Even the teriyaki dishes, come off as quite flavorless (overcooked) (and *no* rice, really?). The sushi is the best option; it is adequate for the Hudson Valley but isn't particularly noteworthy. The rice isn't overly thick (which is excellent) and the rolls are prepared as one should anticipate, but they still seem to lack something that is difficult to describe. Not the worst location by any means, but after trying them three times, I've come to the conclusion that I (and you both) deserve better.

Beautiful restaurant!! Our server was sweet, knowledgeable and fast!! Food was amazing!!! Definitely recommend!! There is another sushi restaurant called Hokkaido in New Paltz and the owner gave our table away to a bigger party which is unacceptable. This place is SO much better and the owners are gracious and appreciative... nothing like Hokkaido!! Go to Tokyo.. you won't regret it!!

My boyfriend and I got a sushi lunch special which included a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna roll was disgusting and was not edible, both of our tasted horrendous and were immediately thrown out. Would not recommend.

TS has been in New Paltz for years. Must count for something. Service is fast and prices reasonable for portion size.

Dropped in for lunch with a friend. Service and food were great. Had the octopus app and ordered a platter of mixed sushi for lunch.
