A cute place with intimate corners to pop the question? Alvin & Friends. The food is nice, the vibes are always right, and the artwork on the walls are for sale courtesy of the owner/artist. Also, there’s parking right across the street.
Alvin and Friends we cannot thank you enough for hosting the most epic celebration for my daughter's 21st birthday. From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the exquisite decor, impeccable service and chic ambiance.
Gwen and her staff were absolutely phenomenal! They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. They were attentive, friendly, and made our entire party feel like VIPs. The food was an absolute culinary masterpiece - every dish was a flavor explosion, and the presentation was simply breathtaking. The Shrimp and Grits and the bread pudding were exceptional!
The Roscoe room was stylish and elegant, providing the perfect backdrop for celebrating this special milestone. Our guests are still raving about the amazing night they had! Thank you, Alvin and Friends, for making my daughter's 21st birthday an unforgettable experience!

A wonderful host was Mr. Alvin, and his beautiful daughter Bella, was a pleasant hostess. Warm and inviting ambiance with jazz music, played by the inspiring saxophonist and flutist, Jeremy Chatoor and his band.

Absolute New Rochelle institution. Alvin, the owner, greets every table and is so kind and hospitable. The service here is phenomenal, genuinely some of the best in the area. Live music Friday & Saturday, and the live jazz brunch on Sundays is not to be missed. The cuisine and atmosphere are incredible and it's truly such a gem in this neighborhood.

A vibe!! The atmosphere was friendly and inviting!Definitely felt like I was sitting in the dining area of a friend’s home. Alvin was there and came and introduced himself. I had the vegan jerk chicken, which was seasoned to perfection and packed with flavor! Will definitely come back!
