I LOVE this addition to New Rochelle Train station. I come here weekly and get a Matcha before I head on the Amtrack. While ALL the staff is nice and helpful I absolutely adore Lemuel who knows my usual order by heart and as soon as I walk it he starts preparing it. I visited this place today, and although the short male employee didn’t treat me badly, he seemed unmotivated and had an unfriendly expression, as if he didn’t want to help. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable, which surprised me because my previous visits have always been pleasant. I’m not sure if it was because they were about to close, but I hope management can encourage the staff to maintain a more welcoming attitude toward customers.
I love coming here in the morning before work to grab my usual, my lavender matcha. Lemuel is the best and knows exactly how I like it. The bacon egg and cheese is just so flavorful compared to other places. You have to check it out if you’re in the area!!
