This is for the New Rochelle location. Great atmosphere, great drinks….but…. Was escorted to a table immediately, a waitress comes over and asks us if we would like some Pandebono for the table which is a Colombian Cheese bread. We said sure, thinking it was complimentary. One piece was brought to the table, which at the end, we were billed for. Why offer it to us making it seem complimentary, when you’re going to wind up charging for it? I ordered a Salteado de Pollo which is supposed to be grilled chicken. When brought to us, is wasnt grilled, rather fried chicken breast, which turned out dry and crunchy, and the tomato sauce/base used, I swear tasted like Heinze ketchup. I asked 3 people with me to taste it without telling then, they all guessed the same, ketchup. Dish was like super sweet ketchup over dry fried chicken breast topped with ketchup laced onions/peppers. This completely shocked me, being that their White Plains location is a solid 5 Stars. Doubt I’ll be returning to the New Rochelle location.
