Colombian House It is the best restaurant in New Rochelle. The people, the food and the live music on Fridays and Saturdays make this place very attractive to return to. Once you start visiting this restaurant frequently, they will treat you like family. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The quality of the food has changed, for the worst. I ordered the grilled chicken with shrimp in garlic and butter sauce. It was cold and disgusting I could not eat it. The shrimp and the chicken were really bland. The chicken breast had a bunch of fatty parts and tendons. THE RICE WAS HARD AND DRY, They gave me the bottom part of the rice which was not even crispy it felt stale. The order also came with tostones, they were not crispy they were thick and soft. I also ordered a side of beans. The beans were nasty as well they were bland and too thick.The pan de bono constantly has egg shells inside of them.
The music was too loud, the Air conditioning was on full blast so it was really cold and the waiter was not attentive at all. The service was not good.

Lately ive been having issues here. From charging me incorrectly in person to even phone orders. They have a special menu MON-FRI before 5 pm but when you ask for it, there’s always something with that as well. Today the special isn’t available because it’s a holiday. So maybe they should write that in their menu or website.
