Glen Island Harbour Club

We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Glen Island Harbour Club until January 2025. Winter weddings can be tough if you are not at an iconic location with extensive interiors conducive to photography meant to maximize the natural and ambient light, but in this case, it was perfect! The bridal suite was stupendous and the guys had a perfect place to get ready, too. All the areas had a lot of daylight considering it was the darkest time of the year and were elegantly furnished. The spaces all complimented the chosen scarlet red and classic tux look. We went outdoors for a bit despite the cold and windy day and loved the views of the water. Everywhere we went the staff was perfect for our couple, their family and friends, and us as vendors. We had scouted the venue beforehand, but we did not realize just how much room we’d have to work with - especially getting ready, taking spectacular shots on the staircase and in the lobby, during the ceremony even with so many guests, and for the reception with a huge dance floor. The food during cocktail hour was absolutely amazing with seemingly limitless options for everyone. The venue staff made sure we had a nice meal as well while checking in on the little things we love such as ensuring we’re set for the entrances and knew the itinerary for the reception. And again, this was our impression during the most difficult time of the year! I cannot imagine how extraordinary the property is during warm seasons, but we hope to find out soon. While this is written from the perspective of a small business owner, this is an unbiased and unsponsored review, and we appreciated the sensational first visit with hopefully many more to come. Recently attended a Christmas party here for my husband’s company. Venue is beautiful, staff are very friendly and attentive. My husband ordered the chicken and it was pink and not cooked, disgusting and inedible. I ordered something different so luckily we were able to share. The woman next to me ordered the chicken as well and it was pink. This is unacceptable at such a venue, or anywhere really. The beauty of the venue was the best part of the evening. Expected something different to be honest. Perhaps attending a wedding here would be different.

Beautiful place, but the service was ok, I felt rushed to eat, and communication was poor, started cleaning the table with out proper notification.

My husband and I attended a wedding last year and fell in love with this venue. When I got in engaged in December 2023, I knew we were going to have our reception at this venue. From the first phone call, speaking with a very soft spoken women by the name of Hope then sitting down with Rocco who made my vision come to life. I couldn't of ask for anything more. The staff was unbelievable they waited on me hand and foot. When I broke the strap on my shoe Ania and my bridal attendant Jasmine took that shoe and when they returned it was fixed.

I would also, like to mention that Jennett was so sweet from the food tasting to the actual night of my event, she was amazing.

My guest said the staff was so professional, if you asked they delivered. From the food to the drinks everything was plentiful.

It was like a hollywood movie and my husband and I were the main characters. I would recommend Glen Island to anyone who is looking for an amazing experience.

We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful and well maintained, but what makes it so exceptional is its wonderful staff. We cannot thank Rocco enough for listening to all our wishes and offering expert suggestions for even. He was so detailed oriented and showed his care for us throughout our event. All the attention to detail that the staff showed was evident. The food was also so delicious. Thank you so much to George, Mia, Jeanette and the rest of the team that took such great care of all of us. We truly appreciate it so much. You made this night one we will never forget.

This place is awesome, beautiful and spacious especially for big occasions. The food was amazing!!! 😋😋

What makes this venue special is not just the amazing views, the delicious food, but the care the staff puts into every little detail. You're blown away by the scenery, the cleanliness of the interior, and the ample amount of space to make everyone feel comfortable.

It's the welcoming feeling that blows it out of the park for me. Everyone on the staff is willing to help and make sure you have what you need. As a wedding officiant, I can't stress enough how calming it has been to work at this particular venue. While I can't remember everyone's names, I am grateful to Jasmine, Rodney, Hope, Elijah, and so many others
who contribute to making every event truly incredible and one of a kind.

Now, let's get back to the FOOD! Your taste buds will be grateful, and your guests will forever rave about their experience.

This venue is a no-brainer for couples who crave high standards, professionalism, kindness, great food, great staff, and great views!

Excellent location but rude staff

Great place for wedding reception, wedding pics and outside events, anniversary events, nature trail walks, running, fishing, kayak boating 🛶 to name a few..

My husband and I had the most amazing wedding day that we could’ve ever imagined on August 31, 2024 at Glen Island. I cannot even begin to tell you how seamless it was working with this venue from signing our contract to the end of our wedding night. I would like to give a personal shout out to Jack (wedding coordinator) who was the most responsive person throughout this entire process. I must’ve had hundreds of emails being sent to him with questions and he would reply within minutes and was always able to answer every question. This venue is so organized and they were able to completely handle a hiccup we had with one of our vendors, which made our lives so much easier considering I was the wedding planner and did not feel the need to hire anyone on the day of. Overall, we had the most magical night of our lives and I would choose this venue a thousand times over. Thank you for making our wedding the most unforgettable day.
