This review is for a to go order I placed. I ordered steak tacos but they messed it up and I received steak with rice and beans. The steak was flavorless the rice was mushy and tasted weird and the guacamole was already brown. Only thing that was okay was the chicken tortilla soup and the chips. Threw out the food and munched on the chips.

I hate to leave negative reviews but I don't have much good that I can say about my meal. The ambiance and staff weren't the issue at all. The decor is quite lovely and made me think the food was going to be delicious. The food was just genuinely not good. Started off with the chips and salsa that were brought to the table. The chips were sooo salty, I could barely eat them. The salsa was quite good but had a weird sweetness to it. I couldn't even eat my entree. I ordered a combo which came with enchiladas, quesadillas, rice, beans and a salad. I was excited when seeing how much food I was getting for $18 but when the plate came out, I couldn't even photograph it because of how it looked. The color of the enchilada sauce was a color I've never seen before. It was lime green... it seriously resembled the slime from Nickelodeon. The rice and beans weren't good either. The beans were watery and the rice was starchy. I was scared to try the salad. Such a shame because I had been wanting to try this place for a while :(

Came back to try out their margaritas! I ordered the frozen Tamarind Margarita and my sister had the frozen pomegranate Margarita and they were so good and refreshing. They had a variety of flavors to choose from. For food, I ordered the milanesa de pollo (breaded chicken) and it was a good size portion that came with rice, salad and tostones. Chicken was well cooked and tender. My sister ordered the skirt steak with shrimp. I'm very picky with beef but this dish was good. Food was delicious and fresh. Service was good too. Definitely will continue to come to this place.

I used to love coming here years ago despite the bad attitude from the female employees. Came back recently to find that they’ve gotten cheap with their food. Tacos barely have any meat and are made on 1 tortilla as opposed to 2 like they used to. Food is bland and under seasoned. Drinks are watered down and this includes shots. The guacamole is incredibly small for the price. Female employees still remain rude amidst the quality going down substantially. Will not be returning or recommending this restaurant. Over hyped by locals with no taste.

Tacos al pastor from Lunch Menu was good (2 tacos served with rice and beans) The Salsa and Chips are tasty. Recommended: Mix Nachos (sausage, chicken, beef) and House Margarita
