We moved to New Rochelle last year and this has become one of our favorite places in the area. Starting with the atmosphere and decor, the restaurant is warm and inviting, great music and lighting. This was one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in a very long time. Of course I would have to say this would be second to Carmela in Italy if I expect to get another home-cooked meal again.

I can see why everyone loves Maria in New Rochelle so much.

We had the most delicious meal last night and because we were eight people, we were able to try many things. I’ll be dreaming about the eggplant fries, yellowfin tuna, beans under my octopus and farro under the fish… until I get there again and I also look forward to trying more dishes that you guys recommended.
