Food was amazing came out better than expected service is amazing people are so nice and caring drinks are also good would come back again!!!

Perla is the gem of Modern!!! The scallops and lychee martinis are amazing as well! But our waitress extraordinaire with the fabulous hair, made our ladies night memorable. She had thoughtful recommendations, made sure we were well taken care of exudes pure joy! Even the servers and gentleman who cleared the table were all professional. The manager takes good care of this crew and it shows in the service. We will definitely go back soon!

I love coming here every Thursday and seeing Elsie. She is attentive and bubbly.

Seb and his family has GREAT taste in their menu choices. We hold every holiday event here and wish to continue!

My visit at the restaurant on Monday was such a great experience! The server, Elsie was wonderful and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and the portions were more than enough. Elsie recommended drinks from the bar which were amazing!!!

My waitress Elsie was amazing on Monday night! She was incredibly attentive, making sure our drinks were always full and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. She was also very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations for both food and drinks. Elsie’s friendly demeanor and positive attitude really enhanced our dining experience.

Relatively new location but Ive been going to Modern, old and new for almost 30 years....To say the food is INCREDIBLE still wouldn't cover it. It's by far, one of the very best Italian restaurants in the entire County, if not further. It NEVER fails to serve you the freshest, most delicious meals. I'm a huge fan of their Chicken and Veal Marsala and Francese...I decided to try their Shrimp Francese for a change of pace. Sure, Ive had many meals at many Italian restaurants in the "world famous Little Italy" sections of NY City...I have to honestly say, this was the absolute BEST dish Ive ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Coupled with the Linguine with REAL White Clam Sauce, which in itself was phenomenal, as well as a salad with Gorgonzola cheese that was spectacular. I had the pleasure of returning again just a few short weeks later, and politely told the waitress (who's service was fabulous) thay I didnt even need a menu....
Modern has been around for a LONG TIME. Originally, you felt like you were sitting in the basement of a friend's home, and the food was just beyond incredible. Now, in the newer location the only thing thats changed is the size. The food has gotten even better (tough to believe since it already was EXCELLENT). The great service, the way they make you feel like family, and the food continues to be incredible....Wherever you are, if you're planning on being near New Rochelle....Modern is DEFINITELY a place you cant pass by, so ENJOY !!!!!!

Modern Restaurant & Lounge, an epic restaurant in New Rochelle! They spared no expense on designing and maintaining this beautiful restaurant. The staff is awesome, the food is delicious, and portions are generous! Dining at the bar or in their dining room you are gonna love it. Just look at those amazing pork chops perfect combination of spicy & savory more than one person should eat…so good I finished them Another plus is the vibe here. You will most probably run into someone you know there or make a new friend…hospitality at Modern is second to none! See You Soon

The place is a nice place, the service is pretty good but god, the food is so mediocre I don’t understand why. The is borderline microwave precooked type food. Flavorless, meat is chewy overall below average. Drinks are watered down with too much ice as well, improvements can be made or maybe chefs need to be changed? Price as well considering the quality of food, it is overpriced. If the quality was better it would be justified, paid over $200. Wouldn’t try again (tried twice)

Great Italian restaurant. We were in the private party area which accommodated about 75 guests. They even allowed us to bring a tray or two of outside food.
