I went here for lunch on a week day with a friend. The staff immediately helped us with the door because I'm in a wheelchair. The place was pretty empty except for a group of old men in their seventies and eighties. I ordered the veal meatballs and the fig and goat cheese flatbread which was exquisite. They have a fantastic drink menu and their service is impeccable!

Stopped by 179 Bar & Grill on the way back to the city and had a late lunch/early dinner. It was not a too busy time, a few tables were filled. The service was attentive. However, the food was bland and left nothing to be desired. We ordered several dishes for apps to share, arugula salad, caesar salad, chicken wings and shishito peppers. Both the salads were delicious, arugula has a nice tangy vinaigrette dressing with blueberries, walnuts and pear slices. I was disappointed with shishito peppers, large parts of the peppers were deeply charred and burned, I had to scrap off those pieces. For our mains, we ordered salmon, eggplant parm, chicken francese and chicken martini. The mains were disappointing with the exception of the salmon, when the sauce is on the side, the salmon was cooked to perfection. However, the eggplant parm was very salty and the chicken francese and martini sauces were exactly the same. Both the chicken dishes were drowned in the same thick sauce. Overall, the service was very good, however many of our dishes had the exact same sauce (just different names on the menu) and the flavor were bland.

The food was great from the raw bar to the appetizers and main course drinks and dessert. Tequila round of shots for everyone on the table On The House. Definitely coming back for another special occasion.Only down side: place has No Parking, you can park on the around the surrounding streets but obviously is not guaranteed.

Had my 50th birthday brunch here! This place was AMAZING! The food was excellent, beautiful presentation for everything they serve! The place smelled so clean and the service was impeccable! Everyone was so nice! Definitely coming back and recommending this place to everyone I know! ? ??

We had a quick pit stop at @179barandgrillrestaurant and were extremely pleased. * Not only was the service immaculate but the atmosphere was very nice. Will be back soon for their brunch, we were watching the food come out to tabels

Called the restaurant at about 8pm for an 8:15pm dinner reservation. The awesome manager told me he was going to make it happen.. Got in with my family of seven and was quickly greated by a wonderful host who I later found out wasn't the host but the fiancee to the manager. She was so sweet and made us feel welcomed even before we got a table. Once we sat down, the service was fast and topnotch, food was good and drinks was hitting...Definitely going back again and again..Kid-friendliness: My kids had a good tim, they had fries and chicken tenders that was well made
