A great Italian Restaurant in New Rochelle. As a Sicilian, I highly recommend this place!

All I wanted was pizza. Instead, I got cursed out and berated at my own front door. Let me tell you about it.
I’ve ordered from Post 22 several times with no issues. The food is usually solid, and I’ve never had a reason to complain, until now.
As someone who worked in the service industry for years (and literally paid for school with tips), I respect tipping. I always tip, after the delivery is complete. That’s just my personal policy, especially since I’ve had food delivered to the wrong address before.
On this particular day, I was in the middle of a work call when my food arrived. My delivery instructions clearly said to leave it at the door. I managed to quickly say “just leave it,” assuming that was that.
But later, I watched my building’s security footage and was honestly shocked. The driver was caught on three different cameras cursing me out, ranting about tips, and using profanity loudly all the way from my door to the elevator. It’s summer. Kids are home. This was not okay.
I called the restaurant, and David, who said he was the manager, answered. He apologized and offered me a gift card. I declined. I won’t be ordering from here again. He said the driver “would no longer be working there,” but also told me he had no idea tips could be added after delivery (which is clearly an option on the app).
I’ve blurred the driver’s face and removed all personal info from the receipt in the screenshots I’m sharing. But I wanted to share my personal experience here.
This wasn’t just unprofessional it was aggressive and completely unnecessary. If I see this man in my building again, I will be filing a police report.

We had a small wedding reception and everything turned out perfect. The food was delicious, the manager was always helpful and responsive, and the staff was incredibly polite and attentive. They made this special moment feel even more magical.

From the person who welcomes you at the front door, to the bartender and busboys, EVERYONE smiles, is happy to serve you without being phony about it! They remember your name, what you drink and how you like your meat cooked if you’re a regular, which of course you will be, because besides all this the food is EXCELLENT, prepared hot or cold as your dish requires and beautifully plated. And what a great menu, something for everybody! And there’s valet Thursday thru Sunday but easy street parking other times. You’ll love the brick interior walls, pretty overhead lights and table candles to make atmosphere a lovely part of your night (or lunch here). I love this place, any day of the week. Thanks for making such a great place, Joey❤️ A real treasure here in the Queen City on the Sound!

We held our rehearsal dinner as Posto 22 and it was phenomenal. Often times when a restaurant caters to a larger group the food tends to suffer a bit, not here. Every dish was great and the attentiveness of the staff much appreciated. Our guests raved about every dish, the team immediately started learning guest preferences, and did not let a single glass go dry. I certainly recommend Posto 22 as an excellent venue to host intimate events with family and friends.

We had a wonderful meal the food was delicious, we started with a Martini it was delicious. We had the meatball appetizer it was perfect great flavor. The main courses were absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. This restaurant is one of the best places in the area I highly recommend you try it. Also they have valet parking. Go there you will not be disappointed.

Impeccable service and the food comes out hot and delicious every time! The portions are huge- enough for 2 to share.
The appetizer (pasta with sausage, chicken, potatoes & peppers in a light sauce) was delicious and HUGE! It could have been an entree! The main course (pasta, shrimp, ground beef) was also good but needed a touch more seasoning. It also was HUGE! You get a lot of food for your money and they have 1/2 price drinks on certain nights. Brian - our waiter - was an excellent waiter. Would definitely go back.

In from out of town and looked like a good place to try. I enjoyed the Veal Parmesan My wife ordered the Parmesan Chicken was tasty. Would definitely go back if in the area again.
