I usually go to R Café for its cozy French vibes- shelves of books, warm light, and that perfect slow-day charm. My regular is the Turkey Sandwich with apricot on the side, the crunch as you bite into the sandwich paired with warm soup and tea combined with sweet tart from the bites of the apricot. Magical!!. Their tea collection is absolutely lovely; I’m obsessed with the Apricot Noir and Blueberry Jasmine. It’s the kind of place you just want to sit, read, and unwind.

A relaxing cafe where you can enjoy a laid back atmosphere, delicious quiches, and great amercianos/chai lattes. We loved it there so much we became regulars. The local art for sale on the walls which changed reguarly added to the space. People there were courteous and friendly. We will miss this place.

Wish I could gatekeep but it’s the best cafe I’ve ever been to, the pastries 10/10, coffee 10/10 and the morning sandwich is 20/10

A great local coffee shop with fresh roasted beans and an extensive café menu that goes well beyond coffee, including plenty of teas. Their pastries are always good too, making it an easy spot to stop in for either a quick drink or a relaxed break.

Usually really good. And it’s nicely decorated. Staffed by nice people. But recently, some days almost 90 degrees outside, they just have the door open. With no AC. Or it’s like a good temperature outside, but there inside is much higher than outside. Opening a door doesn’t make the temperature equal.
And the barista from the last 2 days are not very nice. He doesn’t clear tables (as pictured).

Good coffee and the baristas are always nice. Seating can be limited when it’s busy

Nice Sunday, stopped in and placed an order like I’ve done before. Figured it might take a little longer since it was a busy day, so I waited patiently and tipped before hand.
After about 25 minutes and watching 8 or 9 people get their orders before me, I went up to check turns out they completely forgot mine. No acknowledgment, no real apology, just shrugged it off.

It was clear they were behind and didn’t want to make what I originally ordered, so I ended up asking them to just give me a bottled drink instead. I basically had to manage my own customer service.

Might be a decent shop on a slow day, but if they can’t handle the rush, it’s not worth the wait. Won’t be back too many other spots doing it right.

Cozy spot with relaxing music and a lovely view of the garden and church across the street. The café is clean and tastefully decorated with a charming French theme. Food and drinks are decent.
