We ordered a midnight bbq meal at work from Rib King, and it was amazing! Their chicken wings are so good and I loved both the bbq and spicy flavors. The corn on the cob and cornbread were both really fresh. I absolutely loved their potato salad! There was a ton of other veggies mixed in, and balanced out the starchy and creamy flavors really well. The mashed potatoes had a really soft texture as well.

Picked up the beef short ribs yesterday, the worst ribs I've ever eaten. Overcooked to the point of being mush, I don't know how they got them in the container. So much grizzly fat, they have NO idea how to trim ribs or cook them. St Louis ribs are supposed to be trimmed of excess fat, some is ok, but to leave the silver skin on the bones and the meat side is unforgivable. Large chunks of unrendered fat, more fat than meat..Back to rib school for this "King". Never again, back to the smokehouse for properly cooked ribs.

First order will also be my last. Ordered for the first time at about 4:25 on a weekday. Delivery time estimated 5:10. When no food arrived by 5:35, I called the restaurant and was told that the 'delivery guy' was stuck on the expressway. After a quick call to him, I was told it would be delivered in 10 minutes. Food arrived at 5:48. No apology for the delay until I asked if he was the owner. Half-hearted apology with lots of bitching about a driver who didn't show up for work even though he was making $15 per hour plus tips. Bun on pulled pork was stale, and corn poppers are more greasy breading than corn.

Man I dont do reviews like that on here but I was disappointed with my food. Needs some work. Mac and cheese was not good at all. Had like no cheese sauce on the noodles, ribs no smoke flavor at all. Just seemed like ribs where cooked on a top oven grill and just put a bottled bbq sauce on it. Greens had no flavor and was bitter. Gave this place a chance and not coming back. Only thing that was enjoyable, the cornbread ?

Last night I ordered here and I promise you when I say the worst customer service, I mean THE WORST!!! I came in around 10pm to order something to go. After we ordered a Philly cheesesteak we stepped outside to wait for our food and the owner I guess pulled up with his delivery guys who were in all actuality his friends. The delivery guy was so rude to us and sat on my car smoking a cigarette that we got into a huge argument and I had to tell him to never speak like that to us and to get off of my car! I mean seriously?! It's a college area, not the hood! At that point the owner tried to give us free food. I still paid and left because I didn't want the owner to loose out for having a nasty delivery guy. But when I got home, the food I ordered was mad salty. (I should have never paid) I would definitely never come here again. This must be a new ownership situation because all the recent reviews here look bad. I should have known. I would definitely not come here if you want to be treated like that and still get bad food.

At one point in time the Seafood spinach was so delicious. The last time 3 times I have ordered which I used do regularly...meaning almost weekly for a few months but the last few have been such a disappointment. I thought it was a fluke the 1st -2x's.But this 3rd will have to be the final call. What ever changed in shrimp and fish quality and seasonings used has completely change the taste of the dish and it's disgusting and smells and taste horrible when you eat it. So disappointed and the whole experience has just been ruined. I don't know what changed aBut change it back!!!! Cause this ain't it!!!!!

Used to be our treat. Wings were like rubber -my bf tried to eat them then gave up. Seven (7) wings stayed in the container. 2.5 half bitten- the rest spit. My sandwich was mostly bread. $37??!! Waste of $$. RibKing has def fallen off its throne.

Food used to be good! Ordered oxtails and I couldn't be more disappointed. A large oxtail dinner with 5 tough, barely edible oxtails and rice. How is that a dinner? Where's the cabbage or some kind of vegetable. Beyond disappointed. Stick to the American food if you order here. Wasted money!!

If I could give this place a negative 10 the food was horrible the candy yams tasted like regular potatoes the mac n cheese was out of a cheap box of noodles over the stove the food had no taste it was bland the chicken was dry as cardboard and the shrimp and fish batter tasted as if it was wood chips never gonna order from this store again.

I've ordered twice and the food has been great each time. I normally order the grilled shrimp with bbq sauce. Sweet potato pie was everything. The potato salad is not like down home, but there are so many other options that it doesn't takeaway from what's on the menu.

So I just ordered from this place and.... wow. DELICIOUS!! The ribs are so good that I'm angry at myself for not ordering more. The meat is so tender and just falls off the bone. These Cajun fries are addicting and the cornbread is a classic touch. My wife is almost home from work and if she doesn't hurry I'm eating the Mac and cheese & sweet plantains waiting for her. She'll hate me but.... it'll so be worth it
