My wife and I have ordered from this place since moving to new rochelle. We always had food delivered always tipped the ladies well and we never fussed about the mistakes made on our orders like sending pork to a Muslim household. My wife placed an accidental order to the restaurant thinking it was our local Friday night spot. The owner took the order, repeated the order, and proceeded to place the order even though somethings requested are not even sold by Splendid, like the Espresso martini she ordered. My wife realized her mistake and tried to correct it and pay for the food anyway. The owner at the counter was hostile and rude to my wife and has said we can no longer place orders. Mind you it was an honest mistake that could have been resolved. It feels very racist and discriminatory and we will be following up with further recourse. This is just a heads up before you go in to eat… it’s also not the cleanest inside. Very sad that it came to this and I’m very disappointed by the outcome.

I was treated rudely and all I was trying to do was pick up a Grub Hub order. The guy working there never even communicated with me and asked who I was picking up for. Comes back with an order on hand and instead of handing it to me no he goes and puts it on the counter and walks by me.

Walked in was welcomed by the woman up front who arranged for us to get a table. She asked a waitress to wipe off the table before we sat. The waitress said that’s not her table. She then cleaned the table a minute later and said you can sit. After sitting for a few minutes with no interaction from the staff for water or coffee we realized we were not in a place we wanted to spend our money.
