I visited the restaurant with a friend on Thanksgiving to pick up a catering order and I left my wallet and Lachonne called me and let me know she had it and she will keep it safe I was able to retrieve it! I’m thankful for her great customer service!! Make sure you stop in and get some great soul food!!!!

Sugarplums is so good! I love her fried chicken! My favorite thing to get is the fried chicken with collard greens and candied yams. It's bussin! I hope getting food via Ubereats would work again. I've had trouble ordering via Ubereats. I have a question: On what days do you close the restaurant towards the public? At times, I would come during a weekday, and the restaurant would be closed. Can you elaborate please? Thanks! :)

I went here for the first time about a week ago, and oh baby! My 2 year has been asking for chicken ever since! The food is well made, just overall delicious. I have never had soul food so good. I was driving back to CT, and we had to pull into a gas station to eat some more. My son was in his seat crying for more chicken. I only purchased two orders, and I regretted it. Thank you for the amazing food, I didn’t know people were still cooking like this!

Food is amazing however they cant seem to keep steady hours of operation , or a working number to contact the business to see if they are open. I’ve traveled by uber a few times from the fordham area in the bronx only to be disappointed that they were closed when in fact google gives you on set of operating hours and when you call the number (which no one answers) the voice recording states a complete different set of business hours. Very misleading

The owner here must be high out of his/her mind. WHO the h takes over a Google Maps business page only to respond "smh" or "weirdo" to negative reviews? This childish behavior is so much in line with the plethora of negative reviews this establishment has already received about the staff & service.
