I went here for the first time about a week ago, and oh baby! My 2 year has been asking for chicken ever since! The food is well made, just overall delicious. I have never had soul food so good. I was driving back to CT, and we had to pull into a gas station to eat some more. My son was in his seat crying for more chicken. I only purchased two orders, and I regretted it. Thank you for the amazing food, I didn’t know people were still cooking like this!

Food is amazing however they cant seem to keep steady hours of operation , or a working number to contact the business to see if they are open. I’ve traveled by uber a few times from the fordham area in the bronx only to be disappointed that they were closed when in fact google gives you on set of operating hours and when you call the number (which no one answers) the voice recording states a complete different set of business hours. Very misleading

The owner here must be high out of his/her mind. WHO the h takes over a Google Maps business page only to respond "smh" or "weirdo" to negative reviews? This childish behavior is so much in line with the plethora of negative reviews this establishment has already received about the staff & service.

Suggarplums food is SERIOUSLY some of the best you can have. Everything is cooked beautifully and has so much flavor ..unfortunately the service is abysmal. For starters, ordering online is impossible. Their website always says they’re unavailable when they’re open. This goes for Ubereats as well. When you call there is a 50/50 chance they won’t pick up. If you come to the restaurant, half the time no one is behind the counter and you have to wait for someone to acknowledge you. The staff for the most part are friendly and do give a nice vibe but I dread the entire ordering process. I say this as constructive criticism because their product is so damn good. If they tightened up they could be a 10/10
